  • please keep me posted on any new information about IVF treatments!!

  • Very interesting article about IVF patients!

  • Interesting info about IVF Patients, thanks for that!

  • The CHR really looks at people as individuals and that really helps with ivf treatment.

  • i've heard about "budget ivf," i.e. ivf cycles that cost way less than usual treatments - they have a lot of the extra "frills" like frozen embryo storage taken out and end up costing $4,000-6,000. has anyone else heard about this?

  • @phyllobaby Many IVF centers (including CHR) offer low-intensity IVF options. These IVF cycles use lower dose of ovarian stimulation medication and usually involves less frequent monitoring. However, there are drawbacks to "mini IVF" programs: by design, they produce only a few eggs for fertilization. As a result, "cumulative" pregnancy rates are lower, and more treatment may be needed to conceive. "Mini IVF" is not for everyone. You can read more about pros and cons on our website.

  • yea, at what age do women generally need to start looking towards ivf treatments?

  • @ryannelson301 That depends on individual situation. Women who have been trying to conceive for more than a year should definitely consult a reproductive endocrinologist. IVF may be one of the options that your RE brings up.

  • What is considered "old" for an infertility treatment?

  • @tedepstein1 38 used to be "old." However, the age of fertility patients are creeping up year after year, as more and more women postpone childbearing for career advancement and other social and economic circumstances. And assisted reproductive technologies have been improving in parallel. Nowadays, 38 is not even "old" (at least at our fertility center).

  • Great video! Thanks for doing these informative videos so helpful and interesting!

  • Great info, thanks!

  • The average success rate of IVF in the US depends on the age of the woman as well as whether you are using your own or donor eggs (donor eggs have higher success rates). For example, the average IVF success rate for a woman under 35 years of age using her own eggs is approximately 48%.

    Great video on IVF!

  • Does anyone know what the average success rate of IVF in the USA?
