Don't get this phone! It looks sweet...for about the first day then the screen gets 2000 scratches on it. it randomly turns off all the time. I have the LG Shine. I got it after it's popularity ran out. Mine does not have the battery issue she speaks of. My Shine has not gotten to many scratchs on the glossy mirror cover. I have dropped it completely on accident and it still works like new. I love love love this phone. My joystick does have the issue she speaks of though. My battery life is like three and half days long. It just rocks all away round.

A honourable mention would be that the phone has survived my dropping it literally gazillions of times. When it hits the floor, the back cover of the phone snaps off and the phone is automatically turned off. All you have to do is to remove the battery and then put it back in and turn it on.

i wouldnt recommend the shine at ALL. i noticed the problems within weeks! my clock stops during my third class, the battery doesnt even last the whole day and i only talk on the phone for an hour a day, the photo album has glitches, the battery display is inaccurate, the key lock only works when it feels like it, you cannot select multiple items to move in the photo album/ video gallery and if you do choose to select multiple items, the only choice you have to do with them is DELETE! horrible!

The LG Shine phone is not worth the buy. If you want a phone that is poorly designed and a phone that can have the LCD damaged you have the right phone. I bought it and after 1 month the LCD shattered. Even though the External Plexiglass ws not shattered the INTERNAL was shattered and ROGERs and LG treated this as an EXTERNAL DAMAGE and is NOT covered.
