  • Fantastic!!-This is the only time his artistic creations for DUNE, were used as planned publicly...Alejandro Jodorowsky's DUNE with set design by H.R. Giger & Salvador Dali playing the EMPEROR for $100,000.00 per hour WOULD HAVE been a Legendary Classic like no other...Alejandro is BACK now with a new film in the works!-can't wait for that!!!

  • This was awesome! Thank you for sharing this!! I hope H. R. Giger was paid for this :)

  • This freaking awesome!!!! Thanks for sharing this! I hope Giger got paid!

  • Giger, where are you, now?

  • @davidfragale -He doesn't go online...nor paint, only sculpt & he is probably wondering who to "pass the torch" to, as most artists are primarily online & the True talent may be a reclusive genius we'll never even know about...

  • I was enjoyably confused to see this. I would like to see it in High Definition though.

  • Back in the 70's, Alejandro Jodorowsky planned to make this massive adaptation of Dune and for the Harkonnen designs, he hired Giger for concept art. Moebius was hired to do designs for House Atreides. Then the money dried up and eventually wound up in David Lynch's hands and some of Giger's concepts wound up used but most were thrown out. That robot in the video is based on two of Giger's unused Dune designs.

  • what did I just see?

  • The book says that art is from a concept for a movie based on Frank Herbert's Dune.
