I HAVE A PROBLEM, WHEN SETTING A MARK OF BEAT GRID AT BEGINNING OF TRACK, START TO ADJUST THE WHITE LINES IN VARIOUS PARTS OF THE TRACK, JUST LIKE YOU WILL DO, BUT the adjustment, I REALIZE THAT MY FIRST BEAT GRID POINT ALSO HAS MOVED ME, WHY WHEN YOU PUT YOUR FIRST GRID POINT NOT BEAT YOU MOVE?.

Dude I've noticed that in your library you have the keys of the tracks infront of their names, did you do that manually? If so how? I'm struggling with this point, I am trying to figure out if there is a way to get MixMeister to write the key of the track to the tag and then have that tag read by traktor!

on my grid i dont have the CUE nor CUP buttons, instead of those I have like a vinyl image and it doesnt let me use the cues!! :( how do I get or change those vinyl things to have the CUE and CUP buttons? HELP PLEASE!!!

@muayche you might be using a cracked version, normally those come with lots of loopholes, I suggest you buy the real thing.

I understand the difference between cue volume and master volume, but what i dont understand is the hardwear aspect- my computer only has one audio out jack, so how do i hook it up to both headphones and speakers?

u need at least 2 stereo outs.

1 for main out

isnt there a way to show the little squares and where the waves of both decks are on top of each other? its so much easier to beatmatch that way..like I used to use Pcdjvj which had these squares below the waves which you just match up with the waveform of the second deck to beatmatch...., and i cant figure out how traktor makes beatmatching easier, do you have to do it by ear?

if you're not using sync or master/slave and like to do it visually, there are phase meters just above the decks (long thin bar with a line in the middle)

If you have two tracks playing and the bar isn't moving, then the tracks are at the same tempo. If the line is smack bang in the middle, the tracks are in sync. If the bar is at the far left or far right, you are one beat out which dependant on music style, often results in the off beat clap sounding wrong and your mix wont sound quite right.

Hmm well I got how to sync and stuff (btw im using Traktor scratch) but I have this problem...some songs that have always been beat analyzed as around 126, 127...will show up as 64 or some low number on tracktor (these are usually deep house songs) So i was wondering how you could fix that! thanks!

I used to have the same problem - it is reading the songs at half their beats. On the BPM panel there is a button - "x 2" - if you click that it doubles the BPM

When only using CDJs I would set in and out cue points as you do here but this is much more powerful.

Hey I have a question mann. Im trying to set up a DJ studio for myself along with my prodution studio so I'll need Traktor Scratch too since I have a certified DJ mixer for it. Only thing is I have 1 PC monitor. Do you think I'd have to buy a 2ND monitor for the traktor scratch program? Because I have my DJ studio set up 5 to 6 feet away perpendicular from my main production setup (so all I have to do when im djing is turn my head to the right to see the monitor. I just can't reach the mouse..

thx 4 the tutorial but i have some questions.

if i set a beat marker at the very beginning of the track, and then move to the medium part and move the beat grids, it 'll adjust the beat grids of all the track. so let's say i've adjusted it but later in the track there is a pitch fluctuation. if i move the beatgrids again, they will match the actual drums, but they wont be ok at the middle of the track.

so what i should do?

use a lot the "2" key to drop more than one beat marker?

A lot of this tricks are also in the manual. The problem I have is that your hotkeys don't work on my traktor. I don't have traktor 3.2.2 only traktor 3. Could this be the problem?

yes, those hot keys were created in 3.4 and they are not compatible with earlier versions. just follow the guide online to fill them in yourself.

not exactly, but similar. This will not let you warp or fix loose beats but will get your BPM's perfect and create a grid for perfect loops.
