We all might soon be living this experiment. We had the dust bowl in the early 20th century there was famine in the continental USA. Inflation alone can cause our system to shut down only the hunters will know how to survive. Hunters of both man and animal. Woe to the people of the cities where the water is piped in all food is trucked in trucks are having a hard time earning a living they are vital to life in the city. NYNY had a garbage strike and plunged the city into squallier.

I believe that's the point of the show, ORDINARY people in extreme conditions, out of their normal digs. There's a bunch of shows out there where you can see trained or experienced people getting paid to survive, there is no money, or prize here. I do agree about the shoes and that family in general though, what a train wreck.

I watched the first episode of the alaska experiment tonite, and I gotta say it was the most comical thing I have ever seen, those stupid people were clueless beyond belief, I wish I could be there doing that, those stupid people had no idea what they were doing and arguing about where shoes were, jesus what a bunch of stupid fucks, put me out there I will show you how to survive, good grief

To show how is it living here in Alaska and yet they were only in the southern-eastern part but if they came near where I lived man they wouldn't survive the winter nore the fall. but I give them credit for trying there best

@alaskanwarrior90 I think that was the point of them not going further north, the whole surviving part. Im pretty sure you live in a house with heat and electricity.
