By drills i mean songs. each drill usually contains around 20 sets. Besides we practice less than most bands. This is so members can take part in as many other activities as they want and they can focus on what really matters, SCHOOL. Musically this means the band isn't as good as many others but the individuals are more rounded.

@DrFrankenmac I really dont think that focusing on grades and other sports is a good excuse for having so little of a show as to only stand and play several stand tunes. At the high school I graduated from people do Band, which is about a 7 minute show, sports (like football, track, swimming, basketball) and still are in extra curricular programs like the pre-engineering program. You guys look like you have so much potential to compete and it's going all to waste.

@DrFrankenmac this year i learned 25 drills just in the opener. Which just happens to be crazy train and we have surpassed the skill of the Hoover Marching Band. Im from trussville so soon this year we will prolly be in a competition together so i give the best of luck. Cuz they will need it

@NoahCrayola I mean we don't want to do 20 drills (Entire Songs) in a year. We practice less than most bands so members can focus on classwork and do other activities in addition to band. Not marching the second song (we do 4 songs in a show. 4 shows a year plus 4 pregame drills) gives us 3 drills we don't have to learn (we do march the second song of our main show) and more time to focus on other drills.

wow thats not to bad the color gaurd needs a lil work and the drumline seems to kinda drown out the rest of the band at times im on drumline just letting u know so im not somone who has no clue but yea they might wanna back off a lil ofther than that good job
