if it's offline it's split screen if it's online it's not split screen and this is offline but they still might be playing online or they could be signed in to xbox live if your signed in to xbox live GOLD you can play local split screen if they play online around the world they could have no split screen and if they play offline they play online campaign

guys it's easy 4 player co-op is allowed in halo 3 it can't be glitched but you get new characters when your on player 1 your master chief when your player 2 your arbiter when your player 3 your an elite with all combat armor when your player 4 your an elite with all assault armor isn't that awesome about halo 3 co-op people?!?

Very amusing to watch the flood get what's coming to it so quickly. Heh, I really do hate Cortana. I think the whole flood stuff would be more interesting if its theme was dark green and black like in Halo 1. Would be much more interesting to enter a dark infested flood citadel than an obnoxious orange and red one.

It doesn't matter if the controllers are wireless or not u just need 3 or 4 depends how many will be playing wat u do is have the first 2 in first then when the screen goes dark after countdown u press A on the other controllers a splitsecond b4 it goes dark. I have tried it.It works but I have not tried signing in the other 2 after. first you sign in 2 profiles and you start the game,and you quickly sign in the other 2 profiles.then it will say ''unable 2 join'' and you end the game.then you start the game and a split second before the screen turns black press ''A'' on both 3 and 4 controllers and thats how it works.

i know a way to do this with random players. play a online game (on halo 3 of course!) you must have the game with the camping.player the online game.(solical big team would be the best) do the online battle.when the game ends be the first 1 to press x. if you did it you should be the party leader. then press b when its down loading. go up to lobby ,then go to camping. then there you go! this is part 1 of this comment.
