the one thing I love about flea is that he grabs the bass and plays just what ever eeks out his soul every note to him feels good because it comes from a place of self acceptance and he has spent so much doing this that he not only developed a good ear, but his own voice, and you can only do that by following your own heart, just pick up the bass and play it like you love it, that is why he is my favorite bass player, we love you flea!!!!!

@dabasser4 Now that I'm not working for a company that sells them, I can speak openly: playability is awful. The necks on 'em are worse than squiers. Some of the worst, most touchy necks I have seen. The pickup does a good job of emulating a musicman type sound, very decent for the price. Also, the control knobs are glued on and tend to fall off.

@IC114283 I wish I could, but unfortunately NO. Although the pickup and hardware are above typical entry level quality, the playability just suffers far too much from the sub par necks. When I was the bass tech at a music store, I found myself endless wrestling with these necks to get them near playable with acceptable levels of fret buzz and good intonation. Overbowing, twisting, warping etc was commonplace. This is based on models I've played as of 6 months ago.
