  • I find it difficult to understand how anybody - as big a Radiohead fan as they might be - can rank ANY other Radiohead album above OK Computer. If you're just picking out favorites, then it's fine, but if you're ranking them according to which album was great, then OK Computer just has to be at the top, no hesitation. As good/great as their other albums were, none of them were as stunning as OK Computer. Easily one of the best albums of the 90s, that one.

  • i personally dont think theyve ever written anything even close to second rate

  • I don't know why you guys are hating on Hail to the Thief...it's imagery is so impressive. The whole albums feels like I'm in a haunted house in the middle of the woods. It's amazing how Radiohead can create a feeling so powerful.

  • I wouldn't say people are hating on it, but a lot of fans would agree it's not one of their better albums: OK Computer, In Rainbows, and Kid A are normally referred to as their best albums.

  • don't forget the bends! That was the shit.

  • 1. All.

  • thom yorke is kind of a sideways head banger lol

  • @sforox

Yes, a little bit of Ian Curtis, very good Thom have been us more than 23 years

  • wow he wiggled so much during that performance i bet he actually had the beans over the frank.

  • Such a powerful song, gets me every time. Especially "Ice age come"...

    God i love radiohead

  • thom yorke is the best singer to ever exist

  • ok I think it is safe to say that Kid A was the best album of the decade and it came out in 2000.

what a depressing decade for music, better luck for the 2010's.

this song rocks just as much as it did back in 2000.

  • Well I believe In Rainbows to compete good with it :)

  • If you really think that, I'm very sorry for you. 2K had a lot going for it, if you kept your ears open.

  • I agree, well, you have to admit, Muse have released some pretty phenomenal albums, otherwise, all the good bands seem to be dead. :(

  • yes, Muse are really good.

but in total honesty, not as good as radiohead yet! but again, they are like 3 members and they sound like they are 14 so... it's something.

  • You're a cynical, elitist idiot if you truly believe that 'good bands are dead.'

  • wow!

  • Honestly as a huge radiohead fan, and thom in particular, ive seen like all of their live performances and videos online, and this has got to be their best live performance of all time, thom's emotion is just too much.

  • no comments about it. Just perfect, at all!

  • Thom is birthday boy!!!!!!!!!

  • This is why I love Radiohead.

  • such a desperately sad song!!! great!

  • best version of many. thoms performance, and the ending is key.

  • thom is so intense in this, you can see his true passion for music.

  • this is way better than the album version. love it

  • I'm not a fan of the synthesizer in this recording. It's supposed to hit on the offbeats before beat 1 but he just plays whole notes here... sounds less hip

  • yeah, but I like this version better because of the drum beat that kicks in, if only the synthesizer started a beat earlier on some parts

  • dude i so know what u mean!

  • you twat theres no ripping off. big man with know intellect. (clapclap).Xiu Xiu is a completly different game????

  • Genius

  • this might just be my favorite Radiohead song ever. (although that is a very bullshit statement because how can you just have one.)

  • words*, sorry.

  • Don't you have a feeling that sometimes word aren't necessary to desribe how amazing something is? That's the moment.

  • oh yes.

  • Unbelievable passion! Radiohead are easily one of the best bands of all time.

  • Schhh, just listen

  • ICE AGE COMING!!!

  • maybe not from theory, but from mainstream song structure, lyrics, and instrumentation. still pretty normal chording and time sig and all. incredible and unique nontheless. much more creative.

  • Uhm, here's the difference between Radiohead and Muse.

    Muse sucks...

    Radiohead doesn't.

  • Muse Doesn't suck, both bands are very talented and produce amazing music.

They do at some points sound similar but they are very different bands.

That doesn't mean that either of them suck at all

  • Ermm, no.

  • i'M TOTALLY HYPNOTISED !!!

He looks just like some ancient witchdoctor performing some ritual dancing around a fire !!!

    mesmerising

  • wtf how can you even make a balans between radiohead and muse!! shame on You

  • Genial !!

  • exuberant!!!!!!!! speechless.......Thom makes the song greater than what's expected....It seems as if he had a connection with the song and let himself go......Mind, Soul, & Body....

  • when i think of this song i always imagine that this is like an atomic bomb, with so much power inside, with so much energy under a small capsule of metal...and the song gives me the feeling of something that would be unleashed at any moment,....

this is no music, they go beyond this concept

  • if u cant tell muse from radiohead yur whack, and i wuddnt chill with you

  • lol agreed

  • And how I would miss your borderline illiterate company.

  • the point of language is to communicate, so if u understood me, den i effectively communicated. using less letters dan proposed by "The English Language' THUS, ive made language more efficient. Nirvana is overrated. not the band, the state of consciousness

  • Communication relays meanings, and your meaning becomes muddled when you use broken words and such. It annoys a lot of people right off the bat and thus the communication actually becomes less effective.

Anyway, at least you like Radiohead, I think.

  • Yeah, Nirvana is, I'm not even a big fan of theirs anymore. That has nothing to do with the fact that you act like a moron when you "typ lik dis". There are reasons for the conditions of the english language, they allow for subelty and percision of language. Granted, I doubt you're ever more subtle than a kick to the nuts, but my logic still stands.

In case that was too long, or complicated for you; "ur dum".

  • From your profile, "Age:19." Either you're lying to strengthen a shit argument, or you are one creepy fucking English teacher trying to pick up underage girls on youtube (actual, that's less creepy and more stupid).

Also, there is a huge difference between misspelling a few words (which I admittedly do) and butchering the English language intentionally because you feel it is quicker, or cool. Its stupid and annoying.

Finally, we are not equal. Trust me. I'm well above you and always will be.

  • mhmm.. maybe i live in brazil, and teach english here? Who picks up girls on youtube? And yur above me? we bof die at the end silly.

  • @fcknBru

You're not an English teacher, you're not even 19, you just use that to get into flagged videos. You're just an idiot of a kid, and I hope your parents are ashamed of you.

  • I agree one shouldn't write muse off because of their musical similarities to radiohead, they are obviously a VERY talented group of guys. But also don't say they don't sound anything alike. Thats just stupid. I would describe muse sounding like radiohead when even radiohead doesn't want to sound like radiohead. That is to say, pablo honey-era radiohead.

  • the only muse album that would resemble radiohead in anyway would be showbiz, and its only because matt and thom use falsetto and vibrato frequently. wow, they must be the same band.

  • YES I AGREE OMG :D

  • Pretty good description between the two, I'd say. Nothing alike but they're so distinct from the norm that you could say they are similar types of music but not necessarily similar genre.

  • My fave Radiohead track, just amazing.

  • Jesus... flawless.

  • MEXICO 2009 FOREVER!

  • What's johnny doing?

  • using a modular synthesizer doing the electronic parts

  • Great live performance ! !!!

  • RESPECT TO THE GODS

  • AMAZING !!!!!

  • This band... has made me look life in another perspective.. honestly.

I can't think of many bands like Radiohead... if there were more like them, the world would be a better place... you think I'm exaggerating?

  • I agree in every way. There are no words to describe the feeling I get when I listen to them.

  • nope... radiohead changed the way i look at music forever.

  • if that isn't an energetic performance I don't what is.

  • <3333333

  • 3:19-3:32

    Thom Yorke dance--Epic

  • Comment removed

  • Excellent ! Great live performance !

  • the most charismatic singer ever

  • Five stars. Outstanding.

  • looking forward to see what happens when you begin your salvia trip with this song!

  • Probably the best song of the 2000's in my opinion, it perfectly captures the panic in the world

  • mi viene da piangere.

  • Bad ass performance! I like the extra effect added in.

  • There are no words to describe the genius of Radiohead, and this song.

  • As much as I want Thom's baby... I think Thom just had a seizure!!!!!! hahaha

    I <3 thom!!!

  • I love how he goes into Thom Yorke world when he's singing and flips out on the mic.

  • what the fuck is johnny doing, he looks like an old timey operator

  • hes making the little beep sound effects and feeding thoms voice through so it repeats while thom is singing something else, thats what, fucking genius.

  • woah there just thought it looked funny and confused me, not trying to insult hhim this is my all time favorite song

  • good haha

  • cre oq este es uno e los mejores audios de concierto q he visto en un video ta bueno

  • oh ...wow.....man I wish I had been there, to see such a spectacular, emotionally-charged concert by them. Not that I would expect anything less...really hope I get to see them live one day, and that they put out a new album!

  • What a video.

  • I love Thom Yorke.

  • I love it when Thom just walks around

  • <3 <3 <3 ESPECTACULAR

  • coldplay and muse are also nice, not as nice as radiohead(impossible), but i love coldplay they're talented aswell and so is muse

  • Agreed. For the longest time I turned my nose up at them because I subscribed to the fallacy that they were simply Radiohead copies. However, after actually listening to them, I realize that they truly are fantastic.

  • capolavoro...

  • capolavoro!

  • holy fuck this is the absolute best song i have EVER seen that was performed live!

  • particle , I understand your concern but don't treat your son like an idiot

  • i feel bad for your son.

  • as long as he listens to Radiohead its fine , not that shitty band called Coldplay or the Muse

  • fuck you, Muse fucken rules, and radiohead rules, coldplay is for a bunch of fucken twats.

  • Comment removed

  • ...you're fucking kidding me right? I can understand the whole focus thing because some people are epileptic. But you can't call the police to report YT for these videos. It's a live performance. And he MUST be a scientist? Let him be what he wants. You're like one of those controlling Christians.

  • @ParticleFarticle

    You're an idiot.

  • arriba!!! Muse y Radiohead

  • this is the greatest band in the history of music. < (period)

  • No, they are not the greatest fucking band ever, you sensationalist fanboy fucks. Radiohead is good, very good, but every time a radiohead fan goes off about how they are a gift to the world and we should all gargle their maynaise I want to shoot someone.

They are damn good. < (period)

Not the best, I doubt any artist can claim that honor. Music is far too broad for one artist to dominate it all.

  • good point. i dont see why people always need there to be a "best band"

just enjoy the fucking music mate

    here here

  • well tbh they are a gift to world...coz they are amazing...

  • muse is great also, but totally different. why are you comparing these two all the time? are you stupid? damn childish trolls.

  • Machtige plate !!!!! Ga der maar ne keer in ip!

    Radiohead rulz so much ;)

  • Weel guys I must say I agree... Compare Muse to Radiohead? Come on!!!! no way, thom yorke on his own is a far much inspired artist than mathew belami, and god knows that muse is just mathew belami. Muse isnt evolving through their music, radiohead is in constant elevation...

  • beautiful perfomance

  • great

  • I hate it when people go around hating other bands and saying they suck, when 1st- they don't listen to them so they don't know what they're like.

2nd-they don't get to decide which music is better, nobody does, it's about your tastes and the stuff you like. Everybody likes different things. So please stop it with all the Coldplay, U2, Muse, and Radiohead hating. They're all great. Stop arguing and enjoy the beautiful music!!!!! (Kid A is such a fucking perfect album...)

  • agreed.

  • Have you morons ever heard of global warming???

  • god

  • Great song,

But why does he sing like that?

Gonna go ahead that he is tripping hard.

  • tom yorke has headache

this song is so fucking perfect

  • i love the modular synth part, anyone knows what kind it is?

don't remember them using it live when i attended a concert few years ago.. which was a great performance anyhow..

  • looks like a buchla

  • one of my favorite song ripped off my balls

  • i believe that this performance (and the other songs from this show) are all on the new collector's edition of kid a.

  • and amenisac the album after Kid A.

  • Brilliant.

  • wtfs all this about hating coldplay? im a radiohead fan and i dont mind coldplay. Back to the video, this song is amazing.

  • Cold Play has never been amazing and they the pop version of Radiohead, if Radiohead had limitations then they would be Cold play.

  • I would so LOVE to see them live.

Afraid though that I would never like another show anyone else put on though....

  • thats how I have right now, few days ago I were listening to them live. Fukin Great moment in my life, dunno if I find better ;D

  • he is so cute..so is beck

  • I saw them last Sunday in Prague, I stood maybe 15-20 metres from the stage. Amaaazing. And they played Idioteque and Exit music!

This is an excellent perfomance and video.

  • exit music explodes my brain!!!

  • love it or hate it, that was an amazing performance.

  • is this show on DVD???

  • it must be, glorious hell!!!

  • i used to listen to a tape of this every lunch break in my car during high school while i worked at a little market. it makes me feel like im in a moving car.

  • i ate alone in highschool too. its cool.
