@DerrellTV Releasing something "free" doesn't automatically constitute that as a mixtape. People release free albums all the time.  And people still SELL mixtapes. So Its only illegal if he plans on profitting from it. Mixtape just means its a bunch of songs put together with no organization, and the tracks are unfinished, ...aren't mixed down and mastered fully, ...usually there's shorter songs and songs with only one verse with no hooks.
