Agreed totally. Fusion power can be controlled(million degree C), others system can be thrown away. No war in the world due to energy ? I am not sure, it's been already human being characteristic.

Everything can be calculated economically. Since Investment cost + Operation&maintenance cost compare with output (MW). This part of investment analysis.
