And why it was ok for the USA to do the same thing in the same conflict in Kosovo and Serbia and not ok for Russia to do it in Ossetia and Georgia?

Kosovo was NOT the "same conflict" in any way. The reason NATO invaded was the extreme ethnic cleansing, and that Russia (as always) used it's UN veto to protect Milosevic and his Hitler-like agenda.
Also, Kosovo is now not a part of NATO, NATO didn't invade so they could have more land or political control.
Russia is always after power and domination. It doesn't give a shit about human lives.

Russia SHOULD react, thats not the case. I agree with you on that. But there is no point in bombing villages. Russia will win the war only by ground force anyway. Russia only uses excessive power to set an example, to scare and initimidate others and show their military capability. Using military force is not the problem, is the amount of force used:)
Russia is on a powertrip, trying to regain it's status as a superpower. I really think the strategy is primitive and outdated.

Why is this the US/Europe's fault??? US/Europe try to calm the situation. USA only said that Russia should stop the war. Why? Because the war is TOTALLY out of control! I had classmates and neigbours Ossetians. I have personal contact with them and not through listening to the the russian channels like you. So Russia wants to free Ossetians from us and give them Russian pasports and Make Ossetia Russian territory, right -- impressive peace-keeping action. Russians will pay for this. Georgia should allow Ossetians to be united.
Russia is using this as an excuse to conquer Georgian.
Hopefully this war will end before Tiblisi is surrounded and destroyed.
But don't count on it.
Very sad.
My thoughts are with the soldiers on both sides who are already dead or will die and the innocent civilians who are trapped by the fighting.
