They're 'playable' in the sense that you control they every movement and attack. You decide what skills should be level mored and of what character would best support your main class. :3 But yeah, ya can't change the appearance of them really. Your main character gets different armors,naturally. Atlantica is fun.

To EnchantPoison: When you get that class, the Beast Tamer, it already comes with the tiger and everything. You can't change the gender of any class, except your own. And yes, an axe-women on a tiger.

IMO, turn based is kinda boring, it leaves little room for quick thinking and its slow. I like running around and dodging attacks manually, not by chance. Moron.

Now ur stating the impossible, actually in turn based games its less boring, in other mmorpg's without turn based u cant "manually" dodge attacks, actually u just click somewhere and ull attack like some half-assed idiot and u got like 5% chance to dodge.

So actually atlantica's combat system is way better, moron.

in my opinon i think turn based game should be on console game only. For a mmorpg is kinda different snice u have a party with u already doing quest, instead of looking for a party and doing it with other players.

You have to do quests with other players tho...it's impossible to survive some dungeons without partying. A lot of times, a single group of mercs can't do the job alone. That's also why there's a stamina system now.

These arnt playable characters, these are mercenries, your main character does look diufferent depending on what armour, mercenries only look diferent depending on what weapon and they change look when you upgrade them :)
