How intelligent and well thought out these responses are, your parents must be proud. As a point of fact, I beat Godhand, it pales in comparison to Clover's other Beat-em-up Viewtiful Joe. It's camera is not suited for to it and the attempts at humor tend to be ham-handed, playing on the same sense of "random" comedy that the internet has been beating to death for a good decade now. The decision to make all meaningful take place combat decisions prior to combat was also a poor one.

Different games, different teams, and most of all? Different lead directors. Funnily enough, Shinji Mikami was the director for this game, as well as for RE4. He's a fantastic man. Viewtiful Joe and Okami, two other games from Clover, had the lead Director of Hideki Kamiya, who focuses on stories and concepts a bit differently than Mikami does. Either way, Clover was fantastic. And so is God Hand.

when god hand first came out I read all the reviews and i really thought it sucked but my friend told me it was a good game. .if he says its good than its gotta be good. so i got a copy from the capcom site cuz it very hard to find where I am. .I must say it s one of the best beat em ups I ever played anyone who says otherwise does not have much taste in games, or they were like me and never played it. .just give this game a try it the shizzzz I frucking love it and I beat it on all difficultys

This game is like every other 3D action game. You play it for a bit, you think 'Hmm, this is a bit clunky and samey', but if you stick with it, unlock heaps of awesome moves and start learning how to string them together and really bitch-slap your opponents in the most stylish and brutal ways, all of a sudden you're thinking 'Holy fuck this game rox my sox zomg so challenging and fun hooray!'

yeah, you should definitely get it. it's hard at first, but once you understand the nuances of the combat, the game is incredibly rewarding and awesome. easy mode is easy enough, but normal is a good challenge. i tried hard mode, and i still can't get past the first few stages without dying.

This is what games should be all about. Giving you an immense, but fair challenge. Deciding what you're game is gonna be about, and perfecting every aspect of exactly that thing. The game's combat engine is so well tweaked it can even hold a match against the better 2d fighting games around. A term like "grinding" doesn't exist in this game cause every aspect of the game is FUN and CHALLENGING to do. RIP Clover!
