No, a W123 E50. It's standard M117 E50 5.0 V8, 280ps/430Nm ;)

380 is a 3.8LT M116 engine

Yeah, so that neighbours go insane. :)
a dozen start ups in the early morning and you have a 50/50 chance of: moving neighbours or burning car... :D
Has it got a 4 barrel carb? cant quite see!
was this a conversion from another merc.?
if so, did it bolt onto the origional box?
Are many merc engines/ boxes interchangeable?
love old merc saloons.

Hi!
No, it has fuel injection K-Jetronic type.
It is body of W123 with M117 ( 5.0 V8 ) engine from W126 series, model 500 SE.Engine is euro offcourse, so it has 231 hp.
In, another words, V8 gets in W123 with no problems.
