EDITED : after listening to aska , i seriously thinks that Jam is better . really . you can compare , its pretty obvious that jam singing is better .

No doubt in terms of technical ability Jam is better. However singing isn't just about showing your singing ability...it's also your ability to bring out the emotions of the song. In this area, Aska is way better than Jam.

If a singer can bring out the emotions of the songs and get the listeners to laugh or cry with the song, i think he/she is a good singer. It doesn't matter if he/she can sing like pavarotti.
