  • I use to live down the road from where Shane grew up!!

  • Thatchers Britain

  • @KingHolytokes yeah great days, wish they were back, fucking golden era, sorted those left wing shithead union militants out good and proper!

  • roland rat what a legend

  • fucking good man !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 2:40 - 3 Commando Brigade, 42 Royal Marines.

  • This is weird that this was just on tonight and I had left the youtube page up from last night watching a video on the movie 'After Hours' and 'This Is England' was in the side bar.

  • This is without question one of the best opening titles ever made. It's just perfection, opening with defining images of the decade juxtaposed with the mundanity of life in the Midlands. That panning footage of the graffiti-landen council houses is an amazing find.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA 1:14

  • one person doesnt know his number :D

  • 1:30 is just classic token.

  • you know a director is talented if they give you such an engaging opening like this!

  • I was born in 87' but this film reminds me of thos childhood days in the early 90s. Coming home in scruffy primary school uniform, puttin' on the telly and watchin brum, followed by 50-50 or get your own back, followed by newsround (after bout 96') then neighbours, then out to play football, came back for eastenders, then more footy and ridin my bike to the shops to get 10p ice pops, in bed by 9pm. Now I'm up, work from 8am to 8pm, switch on the telly and see nothin but shite, till this film.

  • The opening credits are a masterpiece. Fortunately, the rest of the film is brilliant too.

  • wish i was around then

  • what´s is the name of this song?

    THANKS

  • It's Toots and the Maytals with 54-46 That's my number.

  • @TonyMachaj

It's 54-46 was my number. The "that's my number" version is the old one not used in this intro. = )

  • @jonaspv Gotcha. Cheers mate.

  • At 1:15, is that a scene of the 1980 embassy siege with the SAS?

  • It is, yes

  • yea

  • lov' it!

  • siempre tuve esa duda

si se refería a que estaría bien en el hospital o en el cielo con los angelitos

jajajaja... bueh.. para mi es un misterio

  • Brilliant film, the actors were good!!

  • Such a good opening!

  • fuckin great film!!!

  • great vid and song ,,!!

  • el negro no muere ¬¬

  • great opening n song

    well gd film

must of been weird growin up then

  • it was great then, no fucking stupid chavs, just skins, mods and greasers.

  • what's a greaser?

  • In England....Bikers

  • @TonyMachaj you could also call them rockers

  • @davhall500 Totally agree, No fucking foreigners EVERYWHERE like there is today, No chavs, just skins; mods and rockers.

  • @unrealharry the point of the movie was to show how dumb people are you are to not just excepting the world as it is and the people

  • @unrealharry i dunno what mods and rockers are - but milk's character was considered a 'fucking foreigner' to some back in them days and people like him still are today. I'm sick of people coming into this country and exploiting it for their own greedy ends, but I'm also sick of people insinuating that people like me can never be english cos my parents were from a foreign land. My parents came here in 1980 from Iraq and I was born and raised here, I'm a Muslim man with a proud British heart.

  • @chappelle87 if a dogs born in a stable it's still a dog , you're an iraqi

  • @kingofthenoobs100 see? Exactly my point. All this "oh no of course we're not racist we want whats best for the indigenous people of this country. You implying no matter how many generations after me stay in England we still won't be considered English? I'll never deny my roots. What an ignorant and sly comment to make, implying I'm similar to a dog born in a stable that is England. I'm sure you spend your time opening your mind more everyday, you useless, ignorant, offensive piece of shite.

  • @chappelle87 he's right , if i emigrate to china would my kids/grandkids be chinese

  • @superduperman93 nope. Although they'd probably have chinese citizenship. I consider myself British to that regard and to the extent that I've integrated i.e. pay taxes, follow laws, contribute to local communities and exhibit good behaviour as a Brit. I didn't call myself English by ethnicity or ancestral background, and have already said I can't deny my roots. I'm sure/hope if you did emigrate to China you wouldn't appreciate people coming up to you with insinuations and hidden abuse.

  • @superduperman93 plus: if your grandkids were born there, paying there way, not causing problems like all the other dickheads who exploit the system, would it be fair for Chinese people to label him/her as such and treat him the same just cos' he isn't chinese?

  • @chappelle87 listen kid , life's not fair , you WILL be tarred with the same brush as all the scumbags who abuse our hospitality , it's just a fact of life , your purpose in life should be to go back home to iraq to help rebuild the country , that's what i would do , but then , i'm a patriotic englishman

  • @superduperman93 hmmm, fair point. At-least you admit I'm being tarred with that same brush, but that doesn't make it ok. I didn't grow up with a heartless dictator killing people around me followed by people coming in dropping bombs everywhere followed by even more people blowing themselves up on people who simply want to buy groceries in the market. I grew up going to primary school and having a mix of friends and going all the way to uni and now work full time. Perhaps I'm not English in...

  • @superduperman93 ...the aspect of appearance, religous belief or tastes, but I feel British/English in terms of family/social values, tolerance and hospitality and affording others their rights by engaging in fair play and consideration. If I emigrated to Iraq, I wouldn't be returning to Iraq, I'd be returning my parent's blood to Iraq.

  • @chappelle87 alright kidda , if you're staying at least you're intergrating , two things i wanted to say , if england play iraq in the next world cup you should support iraq ( there's nothing wrong with that ) and secondly if you want to watch a film about the mods and the rockers watch quadrophenia

  • @superduperman93 lol, cheers m8. P.S. I'm no kid. All the best

  • @chappelle87 This is a year later but I felt I had to comment, you should return to Iraq to help out there? What rubbish! These patriotic Brits should realise that no-one should generalise/stereotype aka 'tar with the same brush' in any instance. I'm a British soldier and I'd rather have someone willing to integrate (with an Iraqi background) than a bigoted English 'patriot' living in my city any day. Acceptance of different cultures/religions is the triumph of our generation!

  • @kingofthenoobs100 ,Fuck me exactly right

  • giveme tome one tone

    hey!

    giveme to me two tone

    hey hey !

    ojajoajoajo

    wena la canción culiá

    buena la película igual

me da pena cuando muere el negrazo..

    nos vemos

  • what and who made this song? F***ing Brillant!!!

Give it to me one time..

  • it's by Toots & Maytals..it's called 54-46 was my number..
