Correct LetzHaveALook,,, same chassis is being used by the ute the wagon the sedan, and also Saab. This is used by heaps of other companies also can't remember them... Camaro and Pontiac are also.

The new manual gearbox is a tremec. The stereo , the computer , it's not all Aussie but put together by us Aussies.

The motor is made in Canada. Not wiseman ferry they stopped making the motor with the 5.7... The Holden CEO said they had a Audi and BMW while designing the chassis, saying we couldn't make it so we copied it.

HSV have no market in the UK. Much easier to sell it as a Vauxhall. Like wise in the US it is easier to sell it as a Pontiac G8.

Its a bad thing for Vauxhall to be oened by GM in the UK. Not a bad thing in America. GM are the only descent car company in America but over here in the UK GM are hopeless and every car they own that isn't American has an image problem. Thats why a lot of people don't like Vauxhalls. Thats not enough to put me off any Vauxhall cause I have 2 of them and they are both brillent and Vauxhall definatly design the best looking family cars on the road these days.
