Max Payne was a film noir genre game. This is an exploitation genre game (even though he said "grindhouse", that would be the name of the venue-type, not the genre itself).

Noir films tend to be more deeply-rooted in dark stories of crime and mystery while exploitation is all about pushing the limits of censorship, creativity, and expectations of the audience.

Besides, when's the last time Max Payne went jumping car to car at 80mph in interstate traffic cutting off limbs and blowing off heads?

But it looks ok.. at around 1 minute it looked really cool. But I bet it's kinda like stranglehold... "ok, cool, semi-fun" but never really goes above "OK"..

mirrors edge isnt a shooter, its more action/acrobatic. this is based more on the blood and shooting part and the acrobatics just make Rubi look cool

i downloaded the demo on XBL i hated it the first time i played it but i retried an d it rocked... i am definetly buying WET if any of you disliked it i would think about replaying it.... its lots of fun cutting the yakazuki like people n has a real Kill bill taste to it i defo give it a 4/5 for the demo.... only snag is the crosshair i really dislike the round ones :D
