@FTales77 Hindu gods are not easily categorised as good or evil by western standards. Norse, Greek, Celtic, Egyptian, even and many other dieties were not clearly good or evil either. Good and Evil was probably invented in Zoroastrianism in ancien Persia, then incorporated to a limited degree into Judaism, then to Christianity, then exported to the world. Otherwise - gods were wise, powerfull, some were beneficial and some dangerous - but not universally good or evil.

@mkumble Actually, I have studied a little of the Bible and I would say Islam talks about Gabriel, Allah and all these entities that seem totally alien to someone but if you relate them to Hinduism, you see similar stories of each of these characters. Gabriel for example was said to chant always the Gods name and wore Red Robes, was the Messenger of Gods and taught Muhammad Islamic Laws. Now compare Gabriel with the Saint of Hinduism - Narada. Narada was said to be Half Human Half God, Angel...

@FTales77 Hindu gods are not easily categorised as good or evil by western standards. Norse, Greek, Celtic, Egyptian, even and many other dieties were not clearly good or evil either. Good and Evil was probably invented in Zoroastrianism in ancien Persia, then incorporated to a limited degree into Judaism, then to Christianity, then exported to the world. Otherwise - gods were wise, powerfull, some were beneficial and some dangerous - but not universally good or evil.

The Vedic(Hindu) Religion has the principle of "One in Many and Many in One". The meaning of this is so profound.
"Many in One" is the fact that there is The Brahman, the supreme God who is the creator of all the "Universes", not just our Universe.

@WakUpCal- You will not call The Sanatan Dharma a religion because it was not started by a prophet who raped uncountable women . To understand The Upanishad you need to come to India and do the courses on this book, which takes about 14 years to complete. So dont even try to quote IT as it is ABSOLUTELY BEYOND your understanding. Instead talk about the virgins/ever young boys/ wine and grapes that allah has promised all faithful muslims. And for the blind Hindu mates (who say that Hinduism is terrorism) read the The Bhagavat Gita and the online english translation of the Quaran. you will see the following:Gita : all humans (Hindu, Muslim and every one else) are the same, there resides the same Brahma (God) inside them.
Quaran : Allah is the only God. Destroy anyone who speak of some other form of belief. When you kill and destroy the non-muslim people and scriptures you get a place in heaven where virgin beauties wait for u.

@WakeUpCall100 - Just visit all the quaran websites and the examples of the verses I have given to understand islam. And yes your forefathers were Hindus no doubt like everyone were in pakisthan and bangladesh(Islam was formed around 610 AD) and were were forced to give up there rich religion. It started with mohd gauri the rapist who invaded us. Islam means to surrender. So they were made to surrender. TRUTH DOES NOT NEED A PROP TO MAKE ITS STAND. @kobain4u - I have studied Quran myself and know better than you do. I'm convinced Islam offers total solution to humanity and is the only perfect way for humans to live on earth! It offers solution in every field from finance to upbringing. It's a way of life as ordained by the Creator.

@WakeUplz-We see examples of countries following islam like Afghanistan and Pakistan and Bangladesh and we see there contin now they are mostly destroy. The people are unhappy. Women suffer like animals. Read the books of "Khaled Hosseini - A Thousand Splendid Suns, the kite runner,"An Afganithani author. Khuda Kay Liye by Shoaib Mansoor , a Pakistani director and youir ignorance will be gone. ISLAM IS FILLED WITH VIOLENCE FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END. And I can cite with direct examples.

@WakeUpCall1000 i am a "hare krishna" devotee, and i am also conviced my religion offers solutions to humanity. so how do we decide who is right?? well we dont have to, u shud continue being a good muslim and ill continue serving krishna. in our religion we are taught, that not every1 may like the same way of loving god, we have free will, we can use it to find our way to love god. please continue serving allah. but try to refrain from saying that its the only perfect way.
