But instead of using tubas, have your drum majors strut thru and get down! Also as they are bringing it off, have fireworks going off!!! This will ensure a very decisive winner.

And as far as that basketball game goes that wasn't even a quarter of the band and yeah we did take an l this year but yall show was still boring as fuck as usual and the only we lost is because we did an old show but our old show still got more house than yalls

point of correction - altho bcc played 20th century to call out famu as u say, 20th century isnt 1 of those pieces of music that's passed around among bands. famu is the only college band that i kno that plays 20th century as an opening fanfare to every performance. if not then the 100 is the band most known for doing so. it's the band's signature. i personally thought the famu call out was high schoolish but hey i'm not the director to make that call. okay y'all can go back to arguin again lol
I'm sorry but BCU won that battle! For the person that mentioned HONDA....well Cookman been there done that took the battle twice if I'm not mistaken. The 100 looked sloppy in formation and BCU's 5 drum majors showed out on the 10 FAMU had. Sorry just keeping it real!
I always find it fascinating how those that hate Cookman continue to watch their videos, critiquing and commenting on how boring the show was or that the 100 was/is better. If that's the case why not stay off of Cookman videos. And as far as the stadium goes, I was sitting up top and the view I had showed that the stadium was rather empty all around from the beginning of the game, not just after Fam's performance or halftime.

Truthfully I watch it because I like and respect BOTH programs. But brandaman9etc is correct in the observation of the crowd. They just weren't into it. Not to say they did a bad job. Just didn't go over well. These things happen.

When comparing the two bands it was night and day. BCU was clearly the better band by a mile. sound wise, drill wise, and overall energy Cookman had it. and to all that disagree or that was there go off the crowd. even FAMU's crowd didnt cheer for them when they were done. i know no matter what happens you are going to say your respective school is better than the other. but put them side by side Cookman is the winner.

I was there. The Crowd was MORE into FAMU. The audio isn't great excuse is old. There's several postings of this same show up and tey ALL reflect the crowd's low energy. Not to say BCU didn't do well. They did an Excellent job. Famu got more house.
As far as, I am concerned BCU Marching Band did a superb job ! I know if time was allowed they would have merged the late Mr. Michael Jackson Song: Wanna Be Starting Something, got 2 be starting something right b4 all a Rattler can do is fall out and die would have taken the Wildcats performance 2 another level on Youtube, Facebook and Twitter. TRUTH. Just b/c the Honda executives dropped the number of participating bands to 8 only giving the MEAC conference 1 spot does not mean the 100's is the headliner. Southern is the biggest shock to eveyrone since they normally don't exploit themselves in exhibition concerts like this. I doubt the 100 or the Tallahassee Community band owns the Georgia Dome BUT they surely do "GIVE IT!" Maybe once White hires a NEW Choreographer, maybe you guys won't have to play charades with the same routine.
How about we we actually create our dances and can actually dance w/o putting down our horns unlike many SwaC band, hence Jackson. Maybe once you guys can blow a whole note w/o breaking your necks along w/ blowing out of tune, then we can actually have a conversation. I'll just put it like this: Anything your band think they can do, The PRIDE will do better. Critique the pettiness all you can but The Marching Wildcats are that premiere band that will guarantee to Show Up & Show OUT!
The marching wildcats have also put their horns on the ground like the same swac bands you are ridiculing. So that means at some point they couldnt play and dance at the same time too.
jboggy27 bcc put their horns down on the ground in their dance routine at the 2003 florida classic. that was the same routine when they climbed on each other's backs and started humpin lol. check it out it's on youtube
Also, knowing both school's marching units are Floridian institutions filled with Georgians, of course dance styles will be similar. I bet you're bitter Alcorn raped you guys in the stands but that's another topic. No hate to The Marching 100 but by overall performance, The PRIDE won this year. FALSE. The 100 is the MEAC HEADLINER because the 100 is who the MASSES, BAND DIRECTORS, AND PRESIDENTS WANT TO SEE. The Honda executives did not dictate how many bands could be selected per conference. There couldve been 4 MEAC bands max but as you see there's only 1. The people have spoken. Better luck next year. And it's not the first time that the 100 has been the MEAC HEADLINER. Check the first Honda in 03. As usual FAMU stands alone AT THE TOP.
Also southern is not a shocker because they were actually selected to be in the first Honda in 03 but declined due to another engagement. So grambling was the next swac option. Everybody knew that once southern got back on the ballot they'd be in. Wow what a shocker.
I agree, FAMU should have came with new routines.....However, with all that talk the BCU announcer guy did against FAMU, it took away from their performance.
Cookman laid the smacked down at halftime. From the DM entrance, to the silhouette of MJ doin his infamous split and crotch grab, to the Concert selection and entire dance routine!

You know it's a shame when people sitting around you in the stands can call out the formations and the music that the band is about to play and that was the case on yesterday....the whole dance routine was from the Miami game whcih doesn't surprise me at all....nothing new or a surprise at all I agree with one of the writers the 100 going to the Honda BOB....LMAO seems like before they go anywhere they need a new dance routine...but somethings never change....LOL
dont sit here and act like bcc's show was brand new because it was not. i thought bcc's intro and dm's was hype! but the MJ drill altho a very nice formation didnt arouse the crowd i guess b/c it was difficult to recognize. 14k are always sexy. the concert sounded good as usual but was dry. the dance routine was okay kinda dry too b/c the crowd didnt get into it until bcc poked fun at famu. So that's just a great intro and ending. Not an OVERALL great show. I've seen better from bcc like FC 06

I was there. The Crowd was MORE into FAMU. The audio isn't great excuse is old. There's several postings of this same show up and tey ALL reflect the crowd's low energy. Not to say BCU didn't do well. They did an Excellent job. Famu got more house.

As far as, I am concerned BCU Marching Band did a superb job ! I know if time was allowed they would have merged the late Mr. Michael Jackson Song: Wanna Be Starting Something, got 2 be starting something right b4 all a Rattler can do is fall out and die would have taken the Wildcats performance 2 another level on Youtube, Facebook and Twitter. I have to give FAMU their props or it would not be fair, so I give them an E 4 effort.

TRUTH. Just b/c the Honda executives dropped the number of participating bands to 8 only giving the MEAC conference 1 spot does not mean the 100's is the headliner. Southern is the biggest shock to eveyrone since they normally don't exploit themselves in exhibition concerts like this. I doubt the 100 or the Tallahassee Community band owns the Georgia Dome BUT they surely do "GIVE IT!" Maybe once White hires a NEW Choreographer, maybe you guys won't have to play charades with the same routine.

How about we we actually create our dances and can actually dance w/o putting down our horns unlike many SwaC band, hence Jackson. Maybe once you guys can blow a whole note w/o breaking your necks along w/ blowing out of tune, then we can actually have a conversation. I'll just put it like this: Anything your band think they can do, The PRIDE will do better. Critique the pettiness all you can but The Marching Wildcats are that premiere band that will guarantee to Show Up & Show OUT!

Also, knowing both school's marching units are Floridian institutions filled with Georgians, of course dance styles will be similar. I bet you're bitter Alcorn raped you guys in the stands but that's another topic. No hate to The Marching 100 but by overall performance, The PRIDE won this year. They may pull off a great show NEXT time around but definitely not this year. 'Copy Cat Band'...SMH LoL. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year....

FALSE. The 100 is the MEAC HEADLINER because the 100 is who the MASSES, BAND DIRECTORS, AND PRESIDENTS WANT TO SEE. The Honda executives did not dictate how many bands could be selected per conference. There couldve been 4 MEAC bands max but as you see there's only 1. The people have spoken. Better luck next year. And it's not the first time that the 100 has been the MEAC HEADLINER. Check the first Honda in 03. As usual FAMU stands alone AT THE TOP.

Also southern is not a shocker because they were actually selected to be in the first Honda in 03 but declined due to another engagement. So grambling was the next swac option. Everybody knew that once southern got back on the ballot they'd be in. Wow what a shocker.

I agree, FAMU should have came with new routines.....However, with all that talk the BCU announcer guy did against FAMU, it took away from their performance.

lol! i didnt mean theyre ugly. i just meant that they are lookin a lil sloppy! they just needed a little more practice.. thats all. they werent on beat. they are usually tighter. i think the BCU wildcats won this one honestly. i think FAMU had more originality... you cant fault them for doing the same show as the atl classic. it was a GREAT show. i thin BCU needs to work on their dance routine. but i will admit that the 100 sounded very BAD

You know it's a shame when people sitting around you in the stands can call out the formations and the music that the band is about to play and that was the case on yesterday....the whole dance routine was from the Miami game whcih doesn't surprise me at all....nothing new or a surprise at all I agree with one of the writers the 100 going to the Honda BOB....LMAO seems like before they go anywhere they need a new dance routine...but somethings never change....LOL

dont sit here and act like bcc's show was brand new because it was not. i thought bcc's intro and dm's was hype! but the MJ drill altho a very nice formation didnt arouse the crowd i guess b/c it was difficult to recognize. 14k are always sexy. the concert sounded good as usual but was dry. the dance routine was okay kinda dry too b/c the crowd didnt get into it until bcc poked fun at famu. So that's just a great intro and ending. Not an OVERALL great show. I've seen better from bcc like FC 06
