This video was posted about a year and a half ago, so when it was posted, I had been playing about four years. I'm more or less completely self-taught. This song isn't too bad until you get to the part I hadn't learned for this video, which is harder notes and 2X speed for the left hand!

Beautiful! Only complaint is I heard that hesitation, but it's what lets us know this is legitimate so I can't say too much on it. I'd love to have an mp3 of this. It's absolutely amazing. My favorite rendition of the theme I've heard yet.

You bet. As an update to all: I have learned the part of the song missing from this video, and am just working on being able to play it with as little error as possible. The bass part for that section is 2x faster! But on a good note, I can play everything in this video much more easily. ^^

Took about 2-3 days of inconsistent analysis to get all the notes out of the song by ear and memorize them, and another week of inconsistent practice (but at least once each day) to get to playing it as well as I did here. I still play it just about every day, and I think I could play it slightly better now than I did in this video :).

I won't post an update, though, until I master the part I didn't play on here, that's at the very end of the real song. Gonna be tough...
