@sailorstarprincess The Studio Shaft is taking REALLY long to produce the last episode! (I think their having budgetary issues, but their also producing Arakawa Under The Bridge and Dance In The Vampire Bund as well so there's no excuse for the long wait!) We'll just have to wait 'til June to see the final half of t he Tsubasa Cat arc.

@TeenChibi They have released episodes 1-12, however the manga went much further than what the anime has covered, as such it would be common sense seeing as the anime was relatively popular, that a second season would be coming out. However this has yet to be confirmed, but one should take a look at a cousin to the same series "Strike Witches" as it will be getting a second season.

@TeenChibi Well for most of these animes, Dance in the Vampire Bund, Bakemonotagari, and Katanagatari, the studios producing them have to utilize their budgets sparingly, thus leading to "interesting" ways to animate a scene, or just random pictures flopped across the screen (Bakemonotagari), a lot of people criticize the anime itself rather than taking the financial stability of the producing company into account. Or just jump on the "Loli's in anime promote pedophilism" which is utter bs.

@Direwolf13PS3 EXACTLY! People say that all of the time, and it's annoying. I like the minimalist approach that SHAFT uses, even though they are cutting corners you don't mind because their so stylish with it. (Katanagatari was produced by White Fox, not SHAFT I believe..)

@TeenChibi Yes however they are experiencing similar problems as with Bakemonotagari, such as a rather jumpy storyline, however quite frankly the animation skill, and style, with added excellence in soundtrack make up for it.

The original works they are based off are by the same person but as far as anime is concerned the studios are completely different. It will be interesting to see how White Fox handles Nisio work as compared to Shaft.
