In your you video you made a comment of the Norinco 1911 as being a quality gun. You meant the 1911 was a quality gun, or the Norinco brand was a quality gun? For the most part any 1911 is a good platform. Have fun with your new firearm. Please post some pictures of the target groups when you have a chance...thanks for sharing.
@cyclops5276 Thanks for the comment Cyclops. What I meant is that Norinco 1911s are a quality gun.
Sure beats cast Kimbers, MIMed Colts and the like. I've also seen ATI is importing some turkish-made 1911s, cast as well.. The only modern quality 1911 with a fair price would be the RIA as of now. Just ask user doctruptwn about them.. can't beat them for the price. Will post range video soon!
Beautiful pistol! Norinco makes some pretty decent stuff nowadays. I own a couple of airguns by that brand, and they are nice shooters. I didn't quite get the part about the law in Italy, so you're allowed to own 5 firearms of which 3 can be pistols? Is it difficult to get a licence? What if I'd like to hunt, do the same rules apply? Sorry for so many questions :-)
@greedkiller Thanks dude! Consider 90% of gunstore business is on airguns nowadays.. and yes, he sells mostly Norinco. He swears by it, and for the price you just can't go wrong. A Norinco QB78 is a tack driver for a very low price.
The law says you can only possess 3 weapons that aren't either hunting or target guns. Most handguns aren't either, so end up clogging that 3 weapons niche.
Just adding a target sight to a pistol and it becomes one of the 5 sporting guns though..
Thanks for the quick and comprehensive reply! Italy has not so bad gun laws then I thing, but hunting is basically the same as in the rest of Europe, a lot of regulations and paperwork. I own a QB78 and a B88 airgun, both very nice guns for the money. The QB78 is very accuracte indeed. Like your channel dude, keep up the good work.
Respond to this video... ( Cont ) Hunting requires a written test in wich you must be able to recognize species and remember wheter you can hunt them or not, remember opening and closing dates, penal codes etc.. and pay a lot of taxes and have a compulsory valid insurance.
@bfgguns Heh! He's quite a sharp guy actually.. kind of a "no bullshit" guy. If he's got something to say, he goes straight to the point. Some people may not like it.. who cares.
Looking forward to the videos you'll post using this pistol. Do they have pistol matches in Italy that require movement, use of cover, magazine changes and are timed?
Congratulations. I hope you get many years of enjoyment from your new pistol.
@WhitSpurzon We have both IDPA, IPSC ( yes, we still call it like that ) and are all affiliated with their international counterparts. Plus some more that I can't remember.
Bel video ma solo una piccola correzione: se la legge non è cambiata negli ultimi minuti, si possono detenere fino a sei armi sportive :-P

@cyclops5276 I'd place Nighthawk's product on another shelf much above the one of the Nork..
