lol, you just love hating windows xP. Seems you have been forced into using vista though. So how exactly did you find this out, seems to me you were trying to find 'vulnerability' xP.

Did you launch cmd.exe by right-clicking it first and choosing 'Run as Administrator'?
If not, it's possible this is now patched, but I haven't verified and I wouldn't have thought so.

OK, well if I remember then I'll try this again on my Vista install tomorrow and see if I can still do it.

I managed to reproduce this on fully patched up Vista as of 2009-04-23 and it worked, albeit there was a delay before the system restarted.
You even got to see the OK message and it waited several seconds before getting confused and locking up.
