Whats with the drainage holes? Wouldn't that allow moisture and maybe little bugs to get in the bag? I'm really considering buying one of these but I'm a little skeptical about all the drainage holes.
It would give more credit to your review if you showed us the one that you had been using for 2 years. I am interested in the quality and durability of the pack. There are a lot for around 70 bux and I am worried about how well it will hold up to lots of use.
Thanks for doing this review.Im deploying to Afghan in oct and was going to purchase the camelbak bfm but this is half the price and seems more robust so im going to go ahead and buy this!!
Hi,can I order you a bag w/ inside dimension is Length-28",Width-10",Thickness -5" .made of 1000D condura padded all over inside w/ sling strap. How much would be the cost if delievered here in Ireland?
Hey EssentialSurvivalCo... wich is the Foliage color?, you don't have it there but I saw many websites with that description but I don't know wich is the Foliage, thanks.
hey EssentialSurvivalCo, i was wondering if the pack would fit me. I am 5ft 2in, i am not that big. I am 14 yrs old. it looks massive, but this would be perfect for me.
@EssentialSurvivalCo ........I noticed some straps around the top handle and on the bottom of the bag. Can these be used to equip a ALICE style rack or is it compatible with some other type of rack system? I'd really like to find out. It seems really heavy when loaded and a rack system would be a great accessory for this 3 day pack.
Price of 3-day assult pack in black is $78 (MSRP is $90)... shipping to alberta... not sure offhand... im guessing due to the package weight and size... the cheapest shipping would be 25 - 35 USD
WHAT IS THE TYPE OF MATERIAL USED. IS IT 1000D DENIER CORDURA OR 500D? HOW STRONG IS THE SEWING THROUGHOUT THE PACK. IM VERY INTERESTED IN PURCHASING THIS BUT I WANT TO MAKE SURE IT IS DURABLE.
Hey Mac, still loving my pack. I put all my BOB gear in it and still have room for more so hubby's decided to add tools! Thanks again for sending it all the way to New Zealand.
I have this pack and as you state, you can get a ton of stuff in here. Even looking at it I could not believe my hard case trauma kit would fit into the lower bottom pouch and it did with more space left. Unbelievable value considering the price.
Can you send me a direct link to the bag? I saw the OE TECH 3 Day Assault Pack on airsoft GI, but it's 79$ and made of 600 denier nylon. I heard you sell it for 67.15 and its 1000 denier nylon.
yeah - everything in my store is new... comes from the manufacturer to me to the customer.... hope to add some custom made stuff - but that will be like hand made knives by custom knife makers - again new, but not from a manufacturer
i just bought this bag and i got a question. At the top of the bag right under that carrying handle there appears to be a velcro opening for a bladder but it is sewn shut. Is it supposed to be sewn shut or does my bag have a design flaw? i do have the 2 bladder openings to the left and right but the very top of the bag has a velcro opening thats closed. Please clarify why. thanks
Hey Wildcard - It is an opening for a water bladder hose or electronics (like a radio antenna). The back and front of the velcro patch should be sewn shut and the sides open. Unlike the holes on the sides of the bag, this one doesnt open fully as a "flap". The reason is that it is on the top of the bag and built that way to minimize rain water entrance from that area. You should be able to open it (its not easy) from the sides by working your finger in between the velcro. Hope this helps.
I got a question for you ESSENTIAL. My only question is that i noticed directly at the top of the bag right under the carrying handle there appears to be a velcro opening which is sewn shut to the bag. it has an opening that appears to be for the tube that comes from the liquid bladder. Why is it sewn closed? Is it supposed to be that way or is my a defect. Id appreciate your input.
Giff - durability is great in my opinion. I dont just sell them, I owned it before I ever became a reseller of this equipment. I still have my first one from about 4 years ago - not a single flaw and still looks like the day I got it... and I have STUFFED it to the max for week long excursions and had it in the elements. It is made of 1000 Denier Nylon (tightly packed threads and sturdy). Hope this helps.
Hey Ghillie... It is the same style / design bag. Big difference is the material and price. The material for the Condor bag is 1000 Denier nylon whereas the one you mention is 600. What does this mean? the higher the denier, the stronger / more water resistant it is (tightly packed fibers). It also increases durability. The other difference I see.. the OE Tech seems to be priced a bit higher. Not trying to sell you a pack - but for comparison I sell the Condor 3-day pack for $67.15.
Glad you all enjoyed the vid and it helped - I just moved but now that I am settled in I am hoping to do much more gear reviews and how to's. Thanks for the support!
Very nice bag i plan to purchase it for my month long yearly camp in Nordegg Canada, where we ussually do 3-4-1week hard ground pounding expeditions. Thanks this reveiw really widened my veiws on this pack.
