Jane was beautiful in the 60's and looks great now but she has had plastic surgery. When young you couldn't see her eyelids but now you can due to an eye lid lift. She has also had collagen placed in her lips. Nothing wrong with that and she has done it well.

Jane and Paul were a gorgeous looking couple and I wished they had married too until I realised that love id different for everyone and I admired Linda from then on. That is not to say Jane is not lovely and very happy today. jane in fact ended up with a happy life and still has the love of her life with her. She is the lucky one.

MY GOD! Everyone knows Linda was the love of his life! So what? We can't say Jane is a beautiful lady?! She is! And I love the Beatles' first loves: Jane, Cynthia, Pattie and Maureen! They suffered for being their girls, those boys were a little naughty sometimes, and I really admire them! So, let people love them! That doesn't mean we can't love Linda, anyway!

I agree with you and that is just what I tried to say originally but because I mentioned Linda too I was hidden from the screen. I think someone called Linda ugly and Paul should have married Jane as she was so much prettier. I just thought that was unfair. I was around and loved the Beatle girls too, esp Jane and Paul and George and Pattie. I was a Jane Asher fan too but as I said I mentioned Linda and all the thumbs down came up. I thought it unfair so kept writing

Yes you are right about this being Jane's site and as I originally said I really like her. But I just happened to menion Linda and wow, everyone is down on me and calling Linda ugly and saying Paul should have married Jane instead of the ugly Linda. If people had allowed me my opinion which never put Jane down I would have left it at that I was never rude but you were quite scathing as were others and that got me going. Linda and Paul would be happy that someone thought they were a perfect match

If anyone ever read comments correctly you may have found that I said ages ago now that I loved Jane and Paul together back then and had them in a scrap book. Then people started saying he should have married Jane and not "ugly" Linda who is beautiful.I admired Linda and was happy for Paul and Linda. As for the other sites? I have seen all Beatle sites but found that no-one said bad things about Pattie or Cynthia but did about Yoko. I am not NEGATIVE just telling the truth.I am positive / real

But finally Paul was so much happier with Linda and no-one should be sad about Paul's happiness if they truly respect him and his choices. He divorced Heather, he cheated on Jane (bad boy) but never left Linda's side for 30 years. He cheated on her and that should tell us that the relationship lacked something. I wonder if you met and talked to Paul if you would say to him he was married to the wrong woman for 30 years. Doubt you would. All that matters is Paul's choice not ours. I really liked Jane but I was particularly fond of Linda probably because she wasn't the conventional model type that rock stars seem to be with. I have a hunch Paul and Linda were very much in love all of the time they were together.
Jane is my favorite Beatles girl: very pretty, dainty, exuberant, vibrant, upscale, captivating, and sweet. This is such a nice tribute to her, and I agree with those who think she and Paul made a fantastic couple:)
Why Paul McCartney chose Linda Eastman over Jane Asher is a mystery. There is no comparison in their looks. Linda was just plain and homely. Jane is gorgeous.
Jane came home from doing a play out of town to find Paul with another woman in the house they shared. She walked out on him. Linda was not in the picture at that time.

I don't know if you are a male or female but what you are actually saying is that only the very pretty in life should have happiness and be admired. Are you or the people in your life all gorgeous like Jane was? I have to admire Paul for going with his heart and soul when he married Linda and they spent 30 years together with 4 children. Besides, you don't have to worry about it because Paul did his own choosing. He knew what he wanted and it wasn't Jane, as lovely as Jane was and is.

donnys1girl is 56 yrs old or older and I am sure you cried and cried when Paul fell deeply in love and married Linda. No doubt you were as nasty as the girls that camped outside his home and wrote and said terrible things to Linda. You are no Beatle fan or Paul McCartney fan. You show him no respect at all. I love that I have been thumbs downed so much. It means I will just keep writing comments on how great Linda was for Paul and Jane although a pretty little thing couldn't hold onto the cute Beatle. He cheated on her and that should tell us that the relationship lacked something. I wonder if you met and talked to Paul if you would say to him he was married to the wrong woman for 30 years. Doubt you would. All that matters is Paul's choice not ours. I really liked Jane but I was particularly fond of Linda probably because she wasn't the conventional model type that rock stars seem to be with. I have a hunch Paul and Linda were very much in love all of the time they were together.

Jane is my favorite Beatles girl: very pretty, dainty, exuberant, vibrant, upscale, captivating, and sweet. This is such a nice tribute to her, and I agree with those who think she and Paul made a fantastic couple:)

Why Paul McCartney chose Linda Eastman over Jane Asher is a mystery. There is no comparison in their looks. Linda was just plain and homely. Jane is gorgeous.

Jane came home from doing a play out of town to find Paul with another woman in the house they shared. She walked out on him. Linda was not in the picture at that time.

Well in Portuguese "Linda" means "Beautiful", it's a female adjective... Maybe for Paul, Linda was beautiful, in so much ways that he was absolutely in love with her. =)

I don't know if you are a male or female but what you are actually saying is that only the very pretty in life should have happiness and be admired. Are you or the people in your life all gorgeous like Jane was? I have to admire Paul for going with his heart and soul when he married Linda and they spent 30 years together with 4 children. Besides, you don't have to worry about it because Paul did his own choosing. He knew what he wanted and it wasn't Jane, as lovely as Jane was and is.
