  • wow searched Mk series up....Could be better

  • I still think Quan Chi's snake staff needs more snakes within snakes.

  • 9:49 Then why the fuck is it called the GEM of Tetsurri?

  • As silly as these episodes are, it's exactly what you'd expect from Mortal Kombat

  • Kitana looks so good here, she needs to look like this in the game.

  • I sware, people trip over the smallest things.

  • Jonny cage?

  • lol wtf this is not mortal kombat this is shit

  • i remeber this waaaaaaayyy back into the 90's.

  • sub zero looks waaaaaaaaaaay better whith his mask.

  • only if this wasnt for kids... way more violence >:)

  • lmfao, this is awesome, Jax was fat!!!

  • I used to watch this on Fox kids! It was awesome! this episode is the first time we ever see Quan Chi - even before MK4- this was his introduction to the MK universe :)

  • @fearthebeer2011 quan chi's first appearance was the sub zero game!

  • @dakentaijutsu2010

This came out in 1996, Mythologies Sub-Zero came out in 1997 so you're wrong.

  • Sub Zero's the SHIT!!!!!!!!

  • Ohhh nooooo!! this show is so bad It hurts to watch... but I'll watch anyway

  • They made a cartoon from Mortal Kombat?! 0.0

  • Well I'll be damned. That IS Quan Chi. Wait, did Ed Boon and the MK guys tip off the creators of this show about Quan Chi before the cartoon aired this episode or something? It just seems kind of weird that Ed Boon would take a character from this show and make him an official character in the games but not mention that in Quan Chi's Bio Card for Deception.

  • First time Zaterra was mentioned too!

  • @CloakedDeception No it was mentioned in the 3rd episode of this series as well as Mortal Kombat Trilogy

  • This is just hilarious.

  • wonder if the annoying orange was here

  • lol blubber butt really huh?

  • Whoa that's Mark Hamill as Quan Chi!

  • @DoctorWeeTodd Actually, it was someone by the name of Nick Chinlund.

  • @IrkenTrad Sorry, sounds just like him though.

The Mortal Kombat wiki credited him, but imdb says otherwise.

  • The bad characters are so gangsters, but the good ones ... errrhh ... pussyes

  • poor jax

  • lol doesnt Jax look like a cartoon version of The Rock

  • that was a boy?

  • i love it when they start fighting with each other i find it funny

  • And when Stryker calls Sub-Zero an ice cube!

  • wut channel did they used to show this cuz i barley found out that there wuz a show of it

  • USA

  • DId they mention "Satera" in any of the mortal kombat games? the name sounds familiar.

  • yea it's spelled zattera and it's reptile's original realm.

  • @KylePowers143

    It's actually spelled Zaterra.

  • Quan Chi sounds way different then the games

  • 1:38 HAHAHHA HAHAHA OMG XD that's Quan Chi??

"Children Children if you can't play nice I'll have to serpate you"

    I love Raiden XD

  • I love Mortal Kombat, but the animation here sucks. It reminds me of bad 80s cartoons.

  • OMG, watching more of this. Terrible acting too. Jax dwelling on being a fat kid? I can't watch anymore. For shame, MK franchise. Stick to the games.

  • Is any of this show canon?

I know that sounds like an immensely silly question but this episode introduces a permanent MK character, and the final episode actually seems to carry on from where MK3 left off...

  • This was actually the first time the character of Quan Chi appeared anywhere , before any of the games .

  • this is based off mk3

isn't quan chi from mk 4

  • He was also in Mythologies

  • quan chi looks fucking dark lol

  • Rayden is the best, like Liu Kang

  • 6:49 "I likes to eat y'alls with my little mouths, too."

  • Where's Johnny Cage?

  • who cares when johnny cage is he's a total fag nasty

  • The storyline is set during the events of MK3 and Cage was killed shortly before that game took place.

  • Thank you for informing me.

  • Not a problem.

  • and the most bad ass person ever curtis MOTHER FUCKIN STRYKER! p.s i do like stryker

  • Is it me but what can't that do ? He's a belt a lighting rod a spoon,he can break dance, bake cookies i mean damm! LOL

  • ohhhh poor jax

  • Body dysmorphic, latently homosexual, hands made of metal... Cartoon Jax is kinda sad.

  • XDDD Anyone else think the guy(I forget his name ^^;) at 1:42 looks like a bad Kiss reject? XD

  • Quan Chi ? yes very

  • That'd be the one XD If I'd waited another 2 mins before posting that comment I would have known his name = FAIL XD

  • Its really funny that his name is in title XD

  • It is? God, how did I miss THAT?! XD

  • dats Quan Chi dumb azz

  • Yes, THANK YOU, I have already been informed of that :/

  • I never watched Mortal Kombat animation series before, but why Jax is really looks like The Rock (Dwayne Johnson)?? - 02:57

  • Mortal Kombat, Justice League style ~_~

  • That's it, friend (LOL).

  • I know it is a cartoon, however how can all the waterways in the world be conected?

  • its good but it dont have blood

  • American tv watered it down to non violence that why no arms got pulled off or head kick off

  • I can't believe it... EMO JAX... too much!

  • i wished kung lao and johnny cage was in dis series

  • Johnny died in the 2nd movie

  • ...Yeah, GEMINIGOD18, but this cartoon series takes place between the two movies, so Johnny could've been in it.

  • no cause he was making the mortal kombat movie

  • i didnt know mortal kombat was an animated series

  • Jax was fat lol

  • Probably explains why he's obsessed with his power and physique. Mike Tyson was a fat kid and look at the kind of fighter he became.

  • Oh real, wdj749? I didn't know Mike Tyson was a fat kid.

As for Jax, one of his (Lesser-known/talked about) traits throughout the Mortal Kombat series (Games, [Second] Movie, and this cartoon) is that he is insecure about his power and ability, due to his having the metal arms in the first place.

Also, it's interesting how it's almost always Sonya who brings this character trait/flaw of Jax's to the forefront in most MK-related media...

  • Yeah, Tyson was a porker. And he beat up kids who teased him for it.

As for that comment on Sonya and Jax...So true, man. I guess she knows him too well.

  • ...Well, that explains it, as whenever I've seen pictures of Tyson's family, they were all overweight, and Tyson himself has been overweight when he's not training.

Anyway, as for Tyson's power/strength, he's most likely very naturally strong, as many people with his (Former) Body Type (Chubby, but solid, including myself) are...

  • ...Also, I was surprised to hear that Tyson got teased for being fat, as I've always read that he was teased for his high voice and lisp.

Kids are/can be some real assholes...

  • Yeah, he was basically teased for all those things. Kinda explains his temper. It's sad that he became a bully himself - until Evander Holyfield kicked his ass. He's much calmer now.

  • Yeah, I noticed that about Tyson, too--He is a lot calmer now. Maybe a good ass-kicking is what he, like all bullies, need...

  • very true man

  • I agree with metalhead618.

  • in vacancy

  • where the hell is kung lao?

  • in vacancy

  • LMFFFAOOOOOO

  • I used to wait all week for this show when I was a little kid and record it to watch it again.

  • Which Episode(s) have Ermac in it?

  • @Donnycrud in 12 episode

  • the first time Quan Chi was ever mentioned!!!

  • mkfan786 thank you for putting the defenders of the realm on youtube!!! much props dude!

  • No problem :)

  • how many episodes of the live action version were there?

  • 22.

  • Awesome! Before MKM: Sub-Zero and Deadly Alliance, Quan Chi was scheming something less sinister! Thanks alot!
