Hi, John! Thanks so much for this video. I'm following your instructions and I'm almost there, but encountering a few problems. First of all, when I tried to install the Hosted iFrame app, it wasn't available, so I opted for Hosted iFrame #5. I've gotten as far as going back to my page after entering the initial command for 'INSERT IMAGE HERE.' When I do, I get the message "Page coming soon...Please check back later." Any suggestions? Should I have clicked on 'Publish and Save'?
hy man! what is the difference between website link and email link? if someone buy from me using the button with email link, money well show up here? "Currency Total
EUR (Primary) €0.00 EUR
USD $0.00 USD". And if someone buy from me with another currency another as I use, what happens? pls repply and sorry for bad english:D
the only edit button is edit your profile. I click that and follow your instruction but when I click Host iFrame it says I don't have admin to do anything. It is my account.

I had same problem that couple of people here but I figured it our and I wanted to share it. After I created the link with "INSERT BUTTON HERE", checked if it was good or not (it was good, it directed me to the PayPal payment page), then I went back to the iFrame, added the picture source and here there was an error.
I found out (NB!) that when I went back to the iFrame, the link to my PayPal thing looked completely different. SO if you first do the link, then check it, then go back, you can't just insert the image, because the link is different. You have to type it all over again from beg to end. I hope I make sense.
Whenever I go to "edit page", then "apps", then "hosted iFRame" and click on "go to app", I get this message: "had to refresh your login. please try again". have tried this about a dozen times.
Do you have to link the paypal button to everything that your selling or can you also have a shopping cart type deal where they pay after they've chosen what they want to order?
I have everything I need set up and ready to go. I get all the way to clicking "go to app" in the edit page list and instead of giving me the page that comes up at 1:50 in your video, I get "missing permissions. redirecting", which takes me back to the original "add hosted iframe" page at 1:27, then tells me I already have it installed. and again and again. Any suggestions for getting out of this loop? Do I need to change my personal settings?
@spayne1327 I'm not sure, but that does sound like a Facebook permissions issue. I would try adjusting your permissions to see if it helps. If not, try the Hosted iFrame app's Facebook page. They may have encountered similar issues. Good luck.
I add the Hosted iFrame icon and when I go to "Go to app" it says "this application is already installed for applicable pages" Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
after I enter the link into the main content section, it goes to my fb page, but at the very top instead of saying insert image here, it says PAGE COMING SOON, COME BACK LATER! THANKS. What am I doing wrong??
@dpower1991 yes but its not what I wanted. I wanted a drop down menu so that customers could select products. I added a drop down menu but it wouldnt redirect me to the page where I could copy the email code. There was no email code. I removed the drop down menu and saved it that way it gave me an email html code. Its just a link to my paypal account so they can make a payment. I instructed customers to email me first so that I can give them a total then they could make the paypal payment.
Hi, I added some verbal description above the paypal button tab. I dont have any code to put paragraphs in so it reads easier. any suggestions???? I'm also computer illiterate.
the facebook page is called Rainbows for Ryan. The tab is ryans story.
your help would be very much appreciated
you can post right on the facebook wall page, as i'm unsure how to get this you-tube message back.

i have the exact same code on my website as on my facebook page for accepting payment however the link on facebook doesnt work but through my website works fine? any reason why that is? thanks
@jadedbabe08 - I did some digging on PayPal's website and it seems you need a Verified or Business account to access the email link for your buttons.
For anyone that has a Verified/Business account and still can't see the email link option, it is likely because you have added options to your button like drop down selections. If you eliminate the extra selection options, you should see the email link option. I have updated the video description with a link that should help with more info.
AFTER I selected "Welcome"...the page says "Application has not been setup. Please check back later. Thanks!" What do I do! I have NOT gotten past this prompt. PLEASE HELP!!!
@elixireiite - If you're trying to change the name of the tab, you first have to go through the steps of installing the application. What's the link to your page?
@markbarnes100 Great question! The PayPal button has to be on a page created by the Hosted iFrame app. But here's the thing... You can change the name of the Welcome page to anything you want.
You can also add other pages (I think the limit is five for the free version of the app). See if you can figure it out. If you still need help, I'll write out the steps (I can't remember all of them at the moment) and I'll make another screencast for you.

Is it possible to get a PayPal link in the sidebar of my fan page? It does not seem very intuitive for donors to click the Welcome link to donate.
Melizberna 1 month ago
@Melizberna - Yes, you can rename the page from "Welcome" to "PayPal" or "Donate" or whatever you want.

BirminghamFitness 4 months ago
@BirminghamFitness - Facebook strips the code, so you can't use the regular button code. The only link that will work is the email code.
As I mentioned in a previous comment, you'll need a Verified/Business account to get an email code.
