hey man i notice ya pulling all ya weight forward as your front wheel comes down pop the wheelie into straight arms and keep em straight cant really power wheelie on a 250 so ya gotta balance it keep it up ur right on the verge of crackin it brotha!
I have a hornet 250 aswell man! not quite as nice as yours but thats cus just got it and it needs work haha,, thinkin of takin it out to try wheelie tomoro, 250's aint easy to wheelie on !!! keep on tryin

I started off doing them like this, but I've since started standing on the pillion footpegs. The shift in weight makes a huge difference and i've gotten it to the balance point no bother, just careful landing them, cracked my nuts on the tank once or twice, lol.
dnt say the 1st thing u think to any1 in ur life cos 1 day ur gna meet the person who'll smash ur face in,heads up yano, tanxs for comment, reali app it
ya so i just got my new dirt bike in 13 and i need some help....i can get a wheely up for about..ummm...5 seconds o ya i have an 4-stroke 80 =P anyways i need some help on balancing and like some pointers... thnx
some people really don't no shit about 250 hornets huh, stop with the stupid comments, BTW you can drop at about 10,000rpm and it will hit straight to balance point rolling on at about 10kmph
Gettin there, Its not easy getting the front wheel up on the 250, only eighs a bit less than the 600 and even that doesnt really want to come up in anything other than 1st and struggles to keep accellerating at anything above 4th.
A little tip for you though...
Go slower, 10mph tops, then load the front suspension by dragging the rear brake and slipping the clutch, then give it a hand full of revs (as you know) and dump the clutch at the same time as releasing the rear brake...............

If you do it purely off the clutch the bike may start to snake when the front wheel is high, Using the rear brake stops this altogether.
You will be surprised by how much difference in height you can get with this method, especially on the less powerful bikes.
Give it a shot, put a video up of a nice high controlled wheelie with a gear change and ill be well impressed.
All the best

Hi, can you teach me how to wheelie?
I ride 250cc 40hp little bike too. Thanks!
bismarck521 3 years ago
tis easy once ya get the nack
lean plenty back if you dare, kinda rev and leave the clutch out at the same time, kinda slipping the clutch and walla
just do little wee ones for the first week then as you get better keep em going
practice,practice,practice
just to say,you clutch might,go you will need chain and sprockets earlier and you might crash or drop the bike but i think it was worth the chance
happy wheeling:)

jfkavanagh007 3 years ago
Try not using the clutch. Just accelerate hard in first, then drop the throttle and then gas it hard.
fightingmachine17 4 years ago
ahh srry boy
the bike isnt powerfull enough for that!
i can get them perfectly now all the way in first...lll be getting up a video soon!
