this is 1983 in St Petersburg at the old mahaffey theatre, i wasnt there but I was 13 and couldnt make it to this show on my bike :) one of my fav fixx songs. they did a vid of this show and stayed at the don ce sar on st pete beach. Ive seen them numerous times and met my wife at the fixx show in 1991!
@aurasurfer This is actually December 1984. I saw them on this tour a couple of months earlier and I own the home video, which states that it was performed and recorded right before they took their Christmas break on their tour in support of the "Phantoms" album.

"In suspense" or "species" doesn't rhyme with 'ho, bitches, n****s', or whatever else deplorable language they found at the bottom of the toilet that day...
Back in the day when music was MUSIC. All you need is a few well placed lights, some really intyeresting words and some killer musicians, and you have a n evening of magic. I don't want to be entertained, I want to see into places where only the The Fixx can help me see...

Cy, one of my favorite singers. I love him and The Fixx. They're so frickin' underrated. Awesome music and lyrics. Truly great musicians.
