  • bloody fucking hell...Where has then been for the last year....lol :D thank you very much my friend. Life saver. Pendulum is a pain in the ass, and so is dubstep and some other stuff. thank you.

  • Man, i needed to find this video. Thanks for uploading!

  • Nice one dude, exactly what I wanted :)

  • great tip! but how do you do with a track that changes tempo? like lil louis' "french kiss" for example?

  • it's the one with the anchor, yayy!

    lmao.

  • good tips, thanks, the only thing is when setting you anchor points you should always mark the first down at the beginning of the track rather then going back and wasting time.

  • I would imagine that you can do the same with A cappella's, have you tried it?

  • whats the point of doing this i still dont quite understand the need to warp... obviously its important but Y?

  • thats cuz some songs have different beats, they can change and then come back so that will mess up your mix cuz even if you auto syn one song will be faster than the other so by doing this you will fix the problem and make it same speed

  • dats what im trynna find out lol

  • @JOSHYBRUTAL So that you can sync the track to a different track on-beat, that's one of the many reasons. :)

  • thx so much, u helped me very well!

  • you should learn to play from what you are hearing and not with these bar thingies

  • they are there for a reason. why not use them to make your mixes quicker? This will open up a whole world of messing with effects etc.

  • hm ok. maybe i'm to old school. we were learnt to play from your hearing and do not trust the bpm. no offence

  • I take it this isn't possible to perform on a song you rip from vinyl as it will be constantly drifting.

  • You can still do it, just the more drift there is from the original tempo, the more anchors you will have to create to keep Torq in line with the song.

  • It is possible, that's the whole point of tempo anchors ;-)

No other DJ program has this feature. All the others only allow you to set a constant BPM across the track (no BPM variations allowed mid-track). With tempo anchors you can increase/decrease the BPM to correct for any wow/flutter/skips of the original source recording. Also means you can set the beatgrid for old school tracks where the human drummer hasn't used a click track to keep the beat constant.

  • That makes sense. Thanks guys.

  • Nice one I am still trying to work this out on the pc version of Traktor3.

Only happens on a few tracks. For some reason the just won't mix.

  • Traktor doesn't support BPM variations in the middle of the track. Torq's tempo anchors are the only way to cope with these programs. For now, Serato/Traktor users would have to warp tracks with Ableton Live and export with a constant BPM and then load the new file instead.

  • Thanks for that.

    =)

  • you guys should signup for partnership
