  • so just curious am i the only libertarian watching this

  • ... interesting the ratio of 'contributors' to stock footage sources... er, make that; source...

  • @lesliekorshak This project was funded by backers on a website called Kickstarter. The contributors are people who donated to the project.

  • greed better run

  • Actually, the mayor's offer was never real. His offer was full of contradictions and all kinds of errors. He just wanted to convince people that he was serious about the offer, then, while we were in negotiation, he had the police raid us. It was always a lie.

  • @MayaMediated well, anyway, it provided a perfect situation in where the community had to make a decision. Weather there was a deal or not, it helped enhance our story. And as you saw, there was quite some talk about it throughout the camp.

  • Great Editing.... BUT You guys missed the point, Leaders can be detained, disputed, deposited, or discouraged.. Issues can have answers thrown at them without any actual solutions taking place. This is not the 60's, and this protest is not just here, its global. You know who states that we are not doing it right? The ones who accept misinformation and the one who spread it because they are afraid of it. What I'm conveying is even emulated at the end of your video. People for the people.

  • @kroashentdall we are neither for or against that the occupy movement does not have a leader. It was an interesting observation that helped reveal how the occupy community works together to make decision (such as staying or moving to 16th and Mission St.) without a leader that speaks for the group.

  • @kroashentdall I would just like to add that we made this documentary for a program we are a part of in school. Our focus was how the community of the 99 percent plays its roll in the movement. We are not saying it is the 60's. We use the Free Speech Movement as a comparison to highlight what works and doesn't work as much in the Occupy Movement. We did not make this documentary about every movement around the world because our assignment limited us to find a local issue.

  • Thank you for clarifying @TheSatchelys
