Humm, Thanks for sharing; I learned something. I purchased Carols Daughter Hair Milk this week, & Yes, I ended up with an "oil slick" in my hair. I used more than they recommended thinking I needed to because my hair is very thick. Ended up looking like a cross between a fro & 80's Jheri Curl. I've never tried the stretching method like you recommended but will try it soon. After failing w/ the slick fro, I used it for a twist out & was very pleased w/ the results. Thanks Again!

I tried Carol's Daughter Khoret Amen shampoo on my natural and relaxed hair and it was horrible! It left my hair with a heavy white residue that I had to keep washing out. I'm happy it worked for someone.

Good hair! I finally bought some Carol's Daughter today at Macy's. I got the Mimosa Hair Honey, Some of Marguerites Magic and the Tui Leave-in. So far, so good.

@TheSistahChick I use it to give my puff some outstanding sheen! I put some in my hair and went to work. All day long, people were asking what I used on my hair. I had to check the mirror! It was looking very moisturized without being greasy. Don't use too much. I love it because it is NOT water based.

Thank you so much...this was fantastic. I have been natural for about 18 months. I'm still wearing wet/wavy braids because I haven't ventured out to wear my "natural" yet. I wanted more length before I took the plunge. I had a brief stint with a flat iron curl for a week between braids. This "tutorial/review" was really helpful. I've been interested in CD products for a while, however, I've only used the leave-in conditioner. You've done a great job with this and your hair looked fantastic!

However, I have a problem with my curls... my hair stays straight and that is only after I roll my braided hair with rollers overnight. Does anyone know how I can get a more defined curl that doesnt leave me with that raging wild women look ? help!

hey miss lady thanks for the video and the product review.

i only have carol's daughter tui leave in conditioner and havent tried the other line or products yet...

the khoret amen scent was wayyyyy too strong for me. i did fall in love with the tui scent (they have the same items in the tui scent)

your husband may like that better ;)

its important to have great hair and a happy hubby!!

and with the hair milk it should be fantastic!!

i am 5 months into going natural. I have a short bob. I had braids and now have in a sew in. I was just wondering would these products work for me at this time. My hair is not real curly i have a nice texture. If I do not have some sort of weave in I would sport a 2 string twist. Please help

how long did it take for your order to arrive? did you get a confirmation email. I ordered the exact same kit you have on thier website and i havent gotten a confirmation letter or anything that confirms that my order was taken other than the fact that my credit card company was billed. I am really getting worried and i have been reading so many bad reviews on thier online customer service. Oh..and i tried calling thier number a million times and all i get is voice mail...HELP!!

@Saddlytie I had a similar problem i ordered mines and didnt get no confirmation and they made a mistake and charged me twice which caused my accunt to go into an overdraft then they put both the amounts back in and the bank removed the overdraft fee and like 2 days later they finally took out the correct amount and i got my delivery today,so be patient it'll come eventually

I like your video. I purchase c/d yesterday,but I haven't tried yet. you have a nice curls. what can I do to get more curls. I not blow drying or adding any heat to my hair,but i did when I was tracking my have with weave.

My scalp had a terrible response to the CD products. Extreme dryness, scalp irritation, horrible flakes. I will say what works for one what might not work for other. I had hoped for alot more with this product. I am trying to lock my hair. Back to the drawing board. Good luck!

Hi anaturalbeauty3! Right now I mostly use the hair milk when i wear the stretched out afro. I have also used it to add a little sheen to some other styles by scrunching it in. Very nice Afro! I love CD products.  They just stopped selling them in my mall out here in AZ. I might have to go online and order now that you've showed me how to properly use the. :-) I have to admit, I don't like the Khoret scent, but the others are nice. Black Vanilla was my favorite, but it stained clothing and pillows.

I am glad that I didnt give up on CD. My hair loves the products. Yeah the Khoret Amen has a different kind of smell that takes some getting used to, but I am ok with it. How in the world do you get your hair to dry 85% in 15min, I cant get my hair to dry in an hour and a half.lol I love this technique but I think I would have to blow dry my hiar. I tried it last week on wet hair with moderate results. I love this, I hope I can find a way to do it without the diffuser.Thanks for sharing
