so when you gonna get your valves checked for warpage? going completely straight piped actually makes you loose power from your vehicle. either putting a muffler on each side or at least a glasspack would help you alot more

you should run no exhaust cut off after the headers. had an old 4.3 run like that. but had stock manifolds on it.

ive been stoped one time by a state trooper.. but he said he didnt have his decimal meter on..but he knows its to loud..but ive never seen him again.its a 3 inch pipe off the headers to a 5 inch tip..the truck runs pretty good.everynow and then runs a lil ruff..but its tolerable..

oh ok cool, my truck has pritty much the same thing acept mine still has the cats, you can make it loud if u realy romp on it but not like yours...i might have to make a trip to the muffler shop! lol you ever get stoped for your exhaust?

Ok so your truck is straight piped but it doesn't sound like it crackles as much when you hit the accelerator. Do the headers help eliminate the crackling at all or what?

@walsh450 no it just throws an O2 sensor code but it doesnt mess with the motor
