@daresk1 Thanks! Whilst this does work on Mango, it has a strange blurry effect until you touch the screen. Not sure why they've done this in Mango since it was working fine before it, but if you don't mind the blurry image before it becomes transparent, then it should be fine :)
is it possible to see one image when the lockscreen is first displayed after pressing the power button on htc hd7 and another image when the lockscreen is moved up?
@Krazed4Tech Do you mean the red icon on the top right hand corner of my phone? That's an app I created called ICE Alert. I just pinned it to the home screen. You can download it for free here: jivtech.com/ICEAlert.html
Good video man. I've tried this multiple ways both with Gimp and Paint.net and none of mine will show up as transparent. I even did the page curl and followed your video step by step and none of it is working. The image I wanted to do I put on a transparent background and erased the parts of the image and it shows up transparent in the editing software but just appears black on the phone. I've used others that work but none i have made have. Any ideas? Thanks!
@7minkeyman Hi! Glad you liked the video. Is your image saved as a PNG? The key part is to make sure you don't save the image to your phone when you open it. Instead, you should click on 'set as wallpaper'. Send me a private message with a link to your image and I'll see if I can help :). You can upload the image to imgur or something.
@williamday247 Make sure you save the image as a PNG and make sure when you download it on the phone, you don't save it to the phone itself. Just click on the attachment and set it as a wallpaper from there.
@williamday247 If you're setting it properly on the phone, then it's probably something wrong with the image. Send me a link to the image and I'll see if it's transparent on my phone.
hi..ive been trying so hard to make my own..but i just cant doo it..can you make another tutorial using a picture from the internet please...and with better audio...please help me out..big fan!!!
@victor51192 Hi. Sorry, I don't really have time at the moment to create another video. However, is there a picture in particular you want to make transparent? Message me the image and I'll explain certain ways of making it transparent :)
@GrandeInter10 You're welcome GrandeInter10! Glad you found it useful. If you'd like to share your wallpaper, feel free to post a comment on my blog post (in the video description).

@harpyarxp No, unfortunately you can't switch images. You can only set one image as your wallpaper.
