I've used this gun and I confirmed that M16A2 is a freakin' kick-ass AR,I use it with ACOG scope + M203 GL it's a very very great gun in my hand,I can't stop killing ppl >3<

They need something like Halo when it puts you in a lobby then you play.. I hate joining a game when were getting destroyed... I hate my skill level though.. It feels like my skill levels a little to high for me because i'm put in a game with a bunch of level 50 AN-94/UMP/M60 tryhards running around.
@cod5ki11er Yeah, I am not a fan of the matchmaking. You wind up fighting an uphill battle to start out an awful lot. It's rewarding when you pull it out, though.

@jhishanN With magnum ammo it can 1 burst you at close range. Anywhere else it will take you 3 bursts for a kill. You can snipe with the thing, and it's accuracy is way too good.
? no sir, at even the closest range, one bullet gives 20 damage. add magnum and its about 25. a burst is 50, so 2 bursts at close range kill someone, its simple math. and if you are talking about headshots, it is almost equal damage for any assault rifle. and anyways, you can do much better with automatic spray of with any assault rifle at close range, but thats just my opinion.

Given that it's a 2-burst kill up close, there are other assault rifles with better attributes like the AUG, M416, and XM8 that I feel out-shine the AN-94 in CQB, and add in the M16, there are others that are just as effective for me at long range. It must still be the stigma from after the first patch that buffed this gun up... regardless, I'm on to greener pastures :)
I never really liked the AUG untill last night. I didn't have any success with the anything, so I switched over to it, and I love it. It's a great single shotter. Then at about 2 am, my mic broke :(
@oplim77 I'm not really going to be playing BC2 all that often. My mic actually got worse: I lost all sound in the right headphone, so I'm not really going to be able to see whether I really like it, or if it was just a one night wonder.
@anwitollye I have no idea. I'll try them both. I THINK MoH, if they have done a lot of work to it, because Black Ops looks to have too much stuff in it. I prefer it simple, so I'm thinking MoH will be more my preference, but time will tell.
@JaketehManx Yes. Originally it did 20 damage up close, and 14.3 at long range. They increased the long range damage, maybe to 16.7 or something like that. Then they brought it back down to 14.3. It's the same as when it started now, but it's reduced from where it was about a month or so into the game.
Oh man how long do I have to wait until the SPECACT kit comes out for PC?! I'd really like to play with these weapons I now have atleast 2 gold stars for each weapon...
Watching the past few vids on this map has really improved my performance greatly on what was once my worst map. I went 26-3 yesterday with 6 flag caps using some of those tactics and routes. Thanks!

EA probably will abandon doing anything else for battlefield until vietnam comes out, in the psn store there's only one slot left and it doesn't say VIP so it's reserved for vietnam. The final patch will probably come with it too. Sad to see how stale it has gotten, but it's near the end of the road. Once winter season hits up, it'll be a month of fresh from vietnam and then onto the shelf. What looks to be a good multiplayer that's coming out, not necessarily strictly a FPS?
@matrixdude171 It is such a great game, and a great engine. A few fixes to Rush mode and some new maps could have kept this thing going for quite a while, in my opinion.
Colin, you may have already been corrected about this, but it's not until level 45 that you get the gold tags. It took me ~10 days to get there, and I'm a high scorer. :/
I think the only thing that needs to be done with B:BC2 is to fix Rush mode so "crate bashing" as you call it (I call it C-Whoring personally) isn't the simple "I WIN" button it currently seems to be. You can't get into a Rush lobby nowadays without someone getting trigger happy with the explosives.
@tornadomaximus I did not know that about level 45. I guess folks are going to have to settle for silver when they stab me :)
As for your other statement, I agree. Explosive damage against MCOM stations needs to be dealt with somehow, OR, make objective damage deal out negative points. If you need to use C4 on a crate to move on because you weren't good enough to do it the old fashioned way, so be it, but you will have to pay for it with points, and a little piece of your soul.

As for BFBC2 reaching the end of its life, I think you're partly correct. The game as it is now has definitely grown stale, but I think the Vietnam expansion is going to give it a huge boost.
@garnz2791 I got killed by an Anti-Tank mine in Squad Rush while disarming the crate... and the whole thing blew. Hmm.... Didn't think there WERE tanks in S.R.....
I may end up posting that white pass conquest game, I'll have to watch it again and see if there were any good parts aside from us failing epically and allowing the enemy to all-cap us :)

It's VERY hard for me to play full rush games now, unless playing with at least 3 other friends. I mean most maps it's Destruction 2.0 or just snipe rockets from afar to destroy objective. I love arming a crate, then getting nervous as try to defend it. But I agree, the obnoxious people stay lol.
Great game, I love the 40mm shotty, but I get into too many sticky situations, can't reload fast enough..
@coolsr11 Yeah, no kidding. And even if you don't want to C4 the crates yourself, your teammates just sit around in the base waiting for the UAV to respawn half the time, meaning you get spawn locked in Rush... BRUTAL. Now that I've forced myself to use the 40mm, I love it. One shell, hit "Y" unload assault rifle clip, hit "Y" start spraying with the MP-443 :)
@MLBLegit I'm not a huge Halo fan. It's a great game, not taking anything away from it, but it's never been my style. I have them all so far (not ODST) and enjoyed the campaign, but beyond that it never had that much appeal.
they should make a patch for the assault class for an ammo icon to pop-up and blink on squad and teammates when they are out or really low. basically the same as the medic thing but just for ammo. it would be pretty nice bcuz sometimes random squadmates dont want to be an assault class and im like always out of ammo.

@AnonymousAutumn Depending on the situation... I've run the iron sights a lot. M16 they are a little crowded, but they work well :) Not planning on getting reach. Halo isn't really my style of shooter, but you never know.

I hope people work together as much as they do in the moh trailers when the game comes out. A little more health would be nice too. Maybe even a health bar so I know when I'm about to die instead of my screen turning all red immersion can go to hell it's a video game.

Great video, Colin. You have a very tactical gameplay style which I enjoy watching.
As for BFBC2 reaching the end of its life, I think you're partly correct. The game as it is now has definitely grown stale, but I think the Vietnam expansion is going to give it a huge boost.

It's VERY hard for me to play full rush games now, unless playing with at least 3 other friends. I mean most maps it's Destruction 2.0 or just snipe rockets from afar to destroy objective. I love arming a crate, then getting nervous as try to defend it. But I agree, the obnoxious people stay lol.
Great game, I love the 40mm shotty, but I get into too many sticky situations, can't reload fast enough..

@coolsr11 Yeah, no kidding. And even if you don't want to C4 the crates yourself, your teammates just sit around in the base waiting for the UAV to respawn half the time, meaning you get spawn locked in Rush... BRUTAL. Now that I've forced myself to use the 40mm, I love it. One shell, hit "Y" unload assault rifle clip, hit "Y" start spraying with the MP-443 :)

@MLBLegit I'm not a huge Halo fan. It's a great game, not taking anything away from it, but it's never been my style. I have them all so far (not ODST) and enjoyed the campaign, but beyond that it never had that much appeal.

they should make a patch for the assault class for an ammo icon to pop-up and blink on squad and teammates when they are out or really low. basically the same as the medic thing but just for ammo. it would be pretty nice bcuz sometimes random squadmates dont want to be an assault class and im like always out of ammo.
