Im really saddened that World of Warcraft has ended up in the way its getting developed, I remeber boldly about five years ago when I heard of this epic expansion coming to life, it really excited my ten year old mind, I loved that expansion more than anything else, cause I was into roleplaying within the game, and the Lich King set, had a big part in the RP industry, so my child memories rests with the WoTLK expansion, Im not saying RIP. but maybe well find a new beginning some other day.......

There is Sargeras, but there's still so much to see in the WoW universe if they really wanted to. There's exploring new worlds aside from the Outlands. There's potential conflict in the Emerald Dream. Then you have the Old God N'Zoth that is said to be the cause for Deathwing's madness (or at least the old god behind the scenes of Cataclysm). Lady Azshara is still out there. Blizzard still has ideas in the tank. Now, what the heck we're doing in Pandaria is beyond me.

Although I highly disliked this expansion with the exception of Ulduar and ICC, and I prefer Cataclysm overall, when hearing this track nostalgia takes the best of me. Always waited for The Lich King ever since WoW started in 2004, and I was pleased with his fight in ICC, but for me, lore has completely died out now with the death of Deathwing, no more interesting lore might aswell be the end of this game.

Don't you think it would be interesting to fight Sargeras? The lore about the creation of Azeroth is nearly as awesome as the story about Arthas I think. And since Sargeras always has something to do with the evils of the world, I think it would be amazing to figth him like in the final expansion. Something like "And with the death of Sargeras. There would forever be peace". That'd be a cool way to end the game.

@dreidounafinitti Nah, unlike the majority of the game I'm no sucker for the whole titan theme. I liked it when it wasn't so over-the-top saving the universe like. I liked it the most when we had mortal armies assembling to take on Archimonde, The Lich King, Illidan and the likes, now it's just way too extreme with the Dragon Soul and stuff, can only imagine how Sargeras will be then. Also, to me he just looks like Malfurion with fire beard.

Arthas is a perfect example of how to do a fantasy villain right.

He's a character that you can sympathise with. Every action he took was for the sake of his people, even when he chose to become the Lich King.

But there's also that tragic element to his character, which is embodied perfectly in this music.

He is now the king of a dead land and a dead people. All that sacrifice for nothing.

I say there have been few fantasy antagonists that have matched to that example.
