It seems, I am talking to non professionals. The purpose of going to war and using BRUTE FORCE is to punish and destroy the enemy in shortest possible time to achieve the National Strategic Goals with well established results. A long war no matter what the outcome, is a LOST WAR. If we (you) can not do it, then stop wasting our precious resources and useless waste of our youngsters. suggest we employ mercenaries. To judge these basics, you must have some knowledge of the Economy of The War.

@Exmoss You are actually a little entertaining. I for one am not in the military. my husband is a disabled veteran, my mother and father are veterans, my uncle is the retired commander of the 82nd, both of my grandfathers are retired veterans who served in WWII. I believe they would agree with you on what the purpose of war is, however they are also educated and realistic enough to understand that in todays political climate it is not possible.

@Exmoss If you would like to place blame, do so accurately; at the politicians (on all sides), especially congress, the military leaders, the laws of war which we as Americans are forced to follow, and the deployment schedules. do not blame it on the soldiers following orders all the way from the political realm. If you would like some suggested reading I would be happy to oblidge. Again....I dont disgagree with what you say either; unfortunately it just is not able to happen.

@Exmoss If you changed a lot in terms of politics, leaders, etc things would change. If there were restrictions on the media (im not saying there should be) the support of people would have been different and perhaps congress would have allowed different measures as to popular belief. If you gave the leaders of the military EVERYTHING they and their troops needed, all the troops they needed at once and unrestricted access, we would have already won this war...but at what cost of course.

Young man, we destroyed the might of finest army and conquered Germany in 4 years. You, the best fed, the best trained and the best equipped army of the world are fighting against a bunch of CAVEMEN in PAJAMAS for past 8 years and have achieved nothing. Are you proud of your failures?

Not sure of thios was directed at me, the creator, but first off I am a female, which is obvious at the end of the video. 2nd, I agree and disagree with you. It has been to long, but you should research the reasons we have been losing or at least why we have not yet won, before making such brash and harsh statements. They are not al just caveman, we obide by different rules, laws and politics, which although I believe make much of the war just, it hinders much of our abililty.

@Exmoss This war is not nearly the same as WWII. They are not comparable in many aspects. Niether are the politics involved or the support (or lack there of) from home. I cannot imagine any soldier is proud that we have not won, however as long as they are doing what they can and are allowed to, I would hope they are at least proud of themselves. Once they lose faith in themselves we will not only lose completely, we will have lost our military all together.

What about the first amendment clause? I'm against abortion but if we could find a way to make advances in stem cells they could find a way to regrow peoples limbs including those of our soldiers. And the second amendment does not protect the right for someone to own an AK47 with armor piercing rounds that ends up killing a cop.
