China can thank Deng Xiaoping for it's present prosperity. He was kinda a Khrushchev-like figure who had to repudiate earlier errors and institute change, a practical man but not practical enough to eliminate one-party rule.
All China needed was sufficiently logical individual, one who was in power of the CCP and can realise KMT's development plans for China was much more practical and efficient than State Communism economy, to put China on path it is on today. If you want to thank China efficient modernisation plans then you should thank the KMT officials who initially crafted these ideas.
@jia2001, what Deng did was not novel. Most of his plans of modernise China, i.e. developing special economic zones to capture geographic and other economic advantages, can largely been found in past KMT officials (especially Sun Yat Sen, just read his "the international development of china" book). It just that Maoists and their angry peasant class lacked the aptitude to distinguish and incentive to understand good economic policies from bad ones.
The last time China tried out democracy was in 1912, in that year alone the elections were free and fair. But this ended on March 1913, when Song Jiaoren was assassinated. Since then, China experienced 15 years of warlords' dictatorship&anarchy, 27 years of KMT dictatorship and 60+ years of CCP dictatorship, accompanied by much bloodshed.
If S.Korea, Taiwan and even Japan only succeed in democratization after getting rich, how can China feel confident about democratization now?
Look how well it has done them, now their people have the pretty illusion of a free government, instead of the blatantly totalitarian one they had before. The fact that you have Zbigniew Brzezinski giving this man praise says it all. He is one of the most influential figures in our world ruling governmental body known as the CFR, and influences more decisions in the U.S. then the president.
@dalecampbl6 Communist China was never totalitarian. Totalitarianism requires secret police and Gulags. China never had any of those under Mao. If anything, China was fiercely authoritarian, but not totalitarian. China never adhered Stalinist (research anti-revisionism) ....
Chinese is demacratic too, it is just not like western style demacrocy, our demacrocy is that we have election in only one party, and the drawback of two party is too much fight and transaction cost including the timing, one party is easy to resolve problem and get problem done efficiently.but we don't want a lot of state-owned company.
@XU0038221 The united States has more than two parties. There is the green party. The tea party, Independent party, And many others. The two dominant parties are the republican and democratic parties. And believe it or not. They used to be together as the democratic republican party. But both are VERY similar. It's always better two have multiple parties. Because you can support the one that matches YOUR views, since we all come from different walks of life. I like limited government.
You are wrong here. No society that have embraced capitalism had managed to stay authoritarian.
I have studied the Chinese economy and political system and it is the exact same thing happening in China. They are becoming more and more democratic.
First of all, the state have privatized most industries and the latest years they even privatized most of the big media companies. Also they have begun to have ELECTIONS on local and regional level in china. READ UP!
@Salladsdressing YAY! china is gonna become a free nation like us! The only way to do that is the get rid of the CCP. But you can't just get rid of a government. You have to change it's inner workings. Hopefully it becomes far more limited so they cannot push agendas by exploiting others benefits. Peoples property cannot be taken, Arrests cannot be made without warrants. I wish it would be called "Constitutional Republic of China"
No, capitalism is about ALWAYS getting the consumer what he or she wants because otherwise....you won't make a profit ;) So even though let's say McDonalds is a big company, the decision of what McDonalds sells lies in the hands of the consumer. That's why McDonalds have "halal" in arab countries and they have a big healthy option in countries like Norway because that is what the consumer want!
So in effect Capitalism means MORE freedom for the consumer i.e, the people!
Also, you didn't comment at all on the democratic and freedom progress that China has made during the last 10 years.
I am not saying that they are free as a western country. Not at all. But you can clearly see that they are becoming more free and more democratic if you read about how their political system have changed and how the state is giving away more and more control to the people. Do you want me to find some literature for you???
@soc1paambtomaquet I have been to China, the people's lives are really getting better and better. Sure, there are people who grumble about CCP, but overall, the mood is optimistic and positive.
capitalism is an economic system, it can coexist with basically any form of government. Communism is not simply an economic system, it is a political and social system and in order to be implemented it must control every aspect of people's lives by force. Nearly 60 million people died when Mao Tse-Tung was in power; it was Deng Xiaoping, the "capitalist roader", who ended the "permanent revolution" and installed capitalism- in the process ending the worst atrocities
You are forgetting one thing. Capitalism makes a society more free and no society that has embraced a free market system have stayed authoritarian for long.
@Salladsdressing capitalism makes 1% of society free, and everyone else is a slave with the 'freedom' to chose their masters, kept in the illusion of freedom with cheap unnecessary commodities and property, chained down by debts and wage slavery.Capitalism has nothing to do with freedom, but it sure has made for some good propaganda.

AN IDEAL STRONGEST FORM OF DEMOCRACY INCLUDED (See Subchapter 3.1.2.1, Chapter 3, of Part One.).
China's system is just as much a scam as the West's. Technology brings u wealth not capitalism or maoism.
equal pay 4 equal work motivates people to produce tech. u dont need greed and inequality.
and any govt which does not provide the right for each person to freely do what makes them happy, so long as it doesnt violate that same right in others, by removing economic and political restraint and coercion, is illegitimate.
providing individual freedom is the ONLY legitimate purpose of society
"equal pay 4 equal work motivates people to produce tech"
No, it doesn't. Competition motivates this, it always has, always will. The drive to always do better than your competitor causes more advances to be made in order to advance sales, and monetary gain.
@Lonedracowolf28 u dont need inequality 2 compete. and the actual science on incentives says a flat salary works best watch?v=rrkrvAUbU9Y
nasa, nih, nsf along with some of history's greatest inventors like einstein, salk, tesla produce the most advanced tech ever developed without any commission
and the open source movement shows u dont even need compensation: wikipedia, firefox, linux, apache, python
ur claim is flat wrong which costs u a $127k income, the income u would get if pay was equal
NASA's development was purely out of the competitive space race. The greatest inventors we seen did not invent because of equal pay or commission, they did it because they saw something they could do, and they had the willpower to do it. They did what they loved to do, not for money, for the sake of their personal interests. NASA, did it to beat out the Soviet Union, otherwise the Commies would hold more popular opinion.
in a utube comment box that limits u to 500 characters!? lol. no thanx this isnt english class
.
"NASA's development was purely out of the competitive space race"
and nobody at nasa got a profit for beating the soviets which substantiates my point that u can have competition w/o the unequal pay that comes from private profits.
google "gamification" it is a proven way to provide incentives that have nothing to do with income
Apologies if I ever said that income competition was the only reason. It isn't. NASA's involvement in the space race wasn't for a pay, it was to show the world that the US was superior to the soviets, therefor increasing its sphere of influence, and causing more nations to accept it. I never said that unequal pay eliminates competition and such, cooperation functions just as well. IMO, a to-the-right mixed economy is the greatest option, Canada for example being successful.
@Lonedracowolf28 "They did what they loved to do, not for money, for the sake of their personal interests"
which is further proof of my claim that people are motivated by things other than profit. u dont need 2 have billions of dollars in difference in pay in order to motivate people
just like nasa can produce incredible progress and technology by getting flat salaries and no profit, every other organization can do the same
the only thing u get from inequality is widespread poverty and misery
This video also holds a glaring error: This was doing games. Did they adjust the difficulty? Did they monitor everything? Worse performance does not necessarily equal a lower will to do it. He said it himself, Mastery, a factor of motivation, is the drive to do better, and better. Your peers will also do this as well, it's in our nature to stand on the top and do better than anyone else, thus competition erupts.
@kajmobile Why settle for a 127K income, when the janitor makes the same? Should I get the same pay as him if I were, oh, a doctor? Why settle for universal 127, when I can earn 240? Taking the smaller award = / = not wanting to do better. Some people recognize what they need, and don't need, which is the key factor in fixing this economy: People need to save their money, and try not to get in debt.
it is not settling. it is more than what 97% of current workers make!
.
"Should I get the same pay as him if I were a doctor?"
if u both work hard 40 hours/week, I believe u should. being a dr is harder. but there r benefits that come with being a dr that a janitor doesnt get. there is more prestige in saving lives than cleaning up after them
but equal pay 4 equal work can mean harder work gets paid more. it should be decided democratically
@kajmobile They both work hard, yes, but the doctor's job is far more important. He is saving lives, or ensuring the good health of citizens, the janitor on the other hand is simply cleaning up, when, we are presently being taught to do that job ourselves instead of having a janitor do it for us. Of course a doctor gets more benefits, he deserves much more for how critical his job is. His job is more difficult, thus warranting a higher pay, his job is more important, also warranting higher pay.
Laziness is the #1 problem. By advised that after tests, a man will recognize that, if the test was easy for him, he will do worse on it, because he knows that he does not need to give it his all. Perhaps we don't NEED inequality or greed, but it sure as hell works.
u think people starving thruout the world, billions living in poverty, 40 million in poverty in the US, 22 million making nothing, 40 million without healthcare is because of laziness?
the #1 problem in this world is inequality
.
"we don't NEED inequality or greed, but it sure as hell works"
murdering hooligans also works at keeping the peace
u dont need inequality in order to get the incentives that inequality produces
@kajmobile People are in poverty and suffering because they cannot get a job, which is not available because the bank has no available jobs, because people are going into debt, because they are not being educated to save their money and be smart with it. Cooperation is good, but what if the entire ship sinks because one component fails due to its own error? As opposed to the right, where the ship does not sink, yet is still hindered by a loss of a component. Why take more risk?
@Lonedracowolf28 "People are in poverty and suffering because they cannot get a job"
that is just not true either.
there r 20 million working people in the US that live in poverty, not to mention the fact that 97% of US workers make less than the $127k average income.
Due to the economic recession, you see, again, this all circulates back to people not being smart with money. A good market needs progressive, liberal people, and conservative, saving people, but if that balance is ever broken, things like this happen. Deflation, Inflation, etc.. People need to know when or when not to spend. People spend their way into debt and can't get out, because their rate of monetary increase is slow, yet they keep spending foolishly. Things take time.
people r poor because they dont have enough income, not because they dont know how to manage their money.
capitalism doesnt work, it never will. u will always have poverty, unemployment, booms and busts
capitalism needs to be replaced with democracy where everyone has equal power and equal pay for equal work which amounts to $127k/year enough to make EVERYONE wealthy and fixes most of society's problems
Capitalism can work with democracy, dude. That's how life is now in the US. Capitalist economy, democratic society. Of course there will be poverty and unemployment, not EVERYONE can be saved. Trying to do so will sometimes result in the majority suffering. Again, low income is due to the recession, the recession is caused by the way the government is handling the economy (VERY badly) AND the balance of conservatives and progressives being thrown off.
@kajmobile >127 income for all. You wanna ruin the fucking economy even faster? Jesus christ. Go make a new country called nuffaggutry and give everyone 127k. Good luck raising another fucking africa. You're economy will sink fast as fuck.
@ShrimpPalooza "127 income for all. You wanna ruin the fucking economy even faster?"
how would paying everyone enough income to live a wealthy lifestyle ruin the economy?
the US economy is already ruined. 40 million in poverty, 20% of all kids in poverty, 22 million making nothing, 40 million without health insurance, 97% making below average income
u r being conned if u think u have to make less in order 4 the economy to work
That's your opinion, you are entitled to it as I am to mine. Instead of acknowledging my arguments, you are just spouting "LOL UR WRONG HURR!". Low income today is recession. In the past it was the supply and demand issue. Low money made, since jobs pay low, since they are all doing one, low paying job. They need to do several jobs, as opposed to those with high paying jobs, who only need one to keep them sustained. To think that everyone can instantly get 127 K is to be very naive.
Point one: I was referring to how you believed in my opinion economics was wrong.
Point two: If pay cannot increase for them, then yes. Deal with it.
Point three: Takes time to do. Radically changing everything with a quick redistribution of wealth has proved detrimental to economies. Take communism for example. See how terrible the Soviet Union did?
Pt 1: ur economic claims that low paying jobs r the result of the recession and that banks create jobs is wrong
Pt 2: pay can increase to $127k if income was allocated equally which is a better deal for 97% of workers
Pt 3: the problem of USSR wasnt that they tried to implement an equitable economic system, it was that it was a totalitarian dictatorship and NOT a democracy. it had little transparency and critics were murdered so it had no accountability. i advocate democracy
@kajmobile Growth is inhibited when there is no incentive to reach beyond current capabilities. When individuals don't attain anything by doing more and working harder, there is no economic growth. There is no advancement. What would likely be seen is a decline in wealth. You're creating a recipe for stagflation.
@Lonedracowolf28 "Growth is inhibited when there is no incentive"
getting paid $127k per year provides plenty of incentive to work and produce automation that frees our labor to work on new things. people will never run out of new ideas even if they werent paid. 97% of current workers make less than that yet we still manage to grow.
growth depends on the amount you invest. if you dedicate a higher percentage of gdp to investment, you will get higher rates of growth
Capitalist society is the best way for individuals to rise about the plagues of poverty and unemployment. Having a segment of your population in poverty is better than having your country locked in overcontrolled despair.
@Lonedracowolf28 capitalism is the cause of poverty and unemployment. 20k people die every day because of no money not because we dont have enough food. and the recession and rise in unemployment wasnt because we ran out of things to do, it is from our economic system.
poverty and financial struggle comes from inequality which is the goal of capitalism. we produce enough to make everyone wealthy.
@kajmobile "97% of workers make less than 127K yet we still manage to grow"
All that does is prove my point.
People will have the incentive to invest if it promises more money. Simple science of the human, if he reasonably can, and has the possibility to choose to make more, he will.
"growth depends on the amount you invest. if you dedicate a higher percentage of gdp to investment, you will get higher rates of growth"
@Lonedracowolf28 investment no longer requires people willing to gamble their life savings. the amount will be democratically determined as a % of gdp. that amount will be allocated to banks who will use their technical expertise to fund promising proposals
if we want more cars, we simply build more factories. we dont force people to take a 75% pay cut and hope they invest to increase their income in order to get our economy to grow. that is idiotic
@Lonedracowolf28 people r forced to live with this economic system where the average worker makes $33k which is 75% less than the $127k they would make in a democratic system.
and the rich people who take all this extra income so they can live incredibly extravagant and powerful lives have convinced gullible people such as yourself that it is for ur own good.
@Lonedracowolf28 yes, the middle class, who hasnt seen a pay increase in real terms in 30 years really benefits from this system. all our increase in gdp since late 80s has gone to the wealthiest 10%
the $127k is pretax income. if the govt stayed at the level it is now, federal and state would consume 20% of that income thru income taxes, sales taxes, property taxes, tariffs and fees
We may begin this again tomorrow. I'm putting this down for the night. Just leaving you with one thing regarding investment:
How can we invest in technology? Obviously there won't be entrepreneurship, since there's no incentive. And since when is the majority good at investing? Even if it is for a democratic partnership, google and examine this: Broken window fallacy
@Lonedracowolf28 y wont we invest in technology!?! r u really that deluded by those crackpot austrians with their pseudoscience that u think only private investors can figure out breaking windows so we can fix them is a bad investment?
allocation of investment funds will be done by skilled investment bankers not by democratic vote
and there will in fact be entrepreneurs who will submit their proposals to them because that is what they enjoy doing: launching new ideas, not sweeping floors
@kajmobile What incentive is there for someone to become a skilled investor in your society? What incentive is there for them to make good investments? Entrepreneurs come up with new ideas because they enjoy making money, not because they enjoy coming up with them.
@IrishLibertyLover investors will make good investments so they can keep their job as investors.
entrepreneurs will continue to develop new ideas because they want to earn $127k and they would rather earn that money developing their own idea than doing some other job.
the best way to pay people is to pay them well and to pay them a flat salary. watch?v=rrkrvAUbU9Y
Another thing: I did some math. The total income divided by the population grants a total distribution of only 40K per person. Do you even know how much it would cost to implement this? 3.81 trillion, and the US is 14 trillion in debt ATM. Where is all this magical money coming from? Print it? Yet, when economists generally agree, that an increase in money supply gives us hyperinflation. It isn't that the idea is flawed, which it isn't, it is that it is too hard to implement.
Even if you are only talking the work force, that is 90 per person, with a cost of 1.78 trillion, which, again, the US cannot afford without going even further into debt.
There would be a need for welfare; namely, it would be provided to everyone who would otherwise be making less than 127K (which is the majority of the population). But you are looking at this from a rationalistic perspective. It costs money to administer all this. Show me your math for how much more it would cost to run a government that literally controls all aspects of the economy. You should see the deficit when a huge amount of new departments are opened to administer all this.
@Lonedracowolf28 the govt wouldnt run anything. it would continue to create rules and regulate business like they do now. and businesses would continue to operate as they do now making sure they meet customer demand and expenses dont exceed revenue
the difference is capital is democratically controlled and pay would be democratically determined.
ur pay wouldnt be based on how much more revenue ur company can get beyond expenses, it is based on how we democratically decide to allocate total gdp
ive studied economics in school. if u actually read the entire socialist calculation debate, u will learn that mises claim that only capitalism can make economic calculations was debunked.
the consensus among professional economists was that lange's system of labor time in a socialist economy would work better than free markets
@kajmobile What cooperative incentive is there to make someone go to school for ten years, be on call 24/7, and live with the stress of having lives rest in your hands when someone could easily become a night time janitor and sweep floors for the same pay? People aren't equal. Some people are better, smarter, faster, and stronger than others. Trying to create some mind numbingly naive equal state is kindergarten logic. 127k for all? Then, if all I eat is mashed carrots, my poop will be orange.
@Lonedracowolf28 drs along with everyone else would be paid to go to school since it's an economic investment, not a consumption item
the benefit of being a dr is the prestige that comes along with it, the interest in science and biology and the satisfaction of saving lives instead of the mind-numbingly boring job of sweeping floors. u couldnt pay me enough to waste my life sweeping floors
doctors in cuba is a low paying job yet they have more than they need so export them to other countries
@Lonedracowolf28 however democracy means equal pay for equal work. u can make a valid case that harder jobs like drs and construction workers should be paid more than easier jobs like cashiers or artists
the allocation of income would be decided democratically. and some jobs may be paid higher. also some jobs benefit from getting paid based on production so a portion of total income will be used for bonuses
what u wont have in a democracy is 1 making $1 billion and 75 million making <$33k
@Lonedracowolf28 "People aren't equal. Some people are better, smarter, faster, and stronger than others. Trying to create some mind numbingly naive equal state is kindergarten logic."
so should ur ability to vote be based on strength? should ur treatment under the law be based on ur looks and speed? of course not. so ur ability to survive and standard of living shouldnt be based on that either. if u work hard, u should get the same pay as everyone else who works hard
Your ability to vote should be based on intelligence, as strength has nothing to do with it. Treatment under the law should be based on how good of a citizen you are. Some are better than others. Standard of living should be based on how better off you are in the environment. That is the process of adaption and evolution. If you work hard, your job is more important and beneficial, you have a right to higher pay than others. That is fair.
@Lonedracowolf28 "Your ability to vote should be based on intelligence. That is fair."
Cool, then we can put the prisons, nuclear plants and industrial plants where the dumb people live. and since they will most likely have the lower paying jobs which require the most social services, we can eliminate social services altogether! the poor finally will no longer have a voice
@Lonedracowolf28 "Treatment under the law should be based on how good of a citizen you are. Some are better than others. That is fair."
If u have a claim against anyone, or the government especially, we will first do a background check to make sure u have a picture of the dear leader prominently displayed. we can then routinely deny u rights and redress if u dont tow the party line. stalin would love ur ideas
@Lonedracowolf28 "Standard of living should be based on how better off you are in the environment. That is the process of adaption and evolution"
since the dumb, unpatriotic people will have a tough time economically, and unable to afford basic healthcare, mother nature will make quick work of getting rid of them. heck, put them in the arena with a hungry tiger and let them prove their fitness. let's bring back the brutality of the barbarian age
i dont understand whats so attractive about china becoming more wealthy. no matter how rich most country becomes their working class are still going to be treated like shit. china is still in an authoritarian dictatorship,so until there is a true workers movement in china , economic growth in china just means more wealthy business men and poorer peasants.
@eatenhamhawk: whenever China in democracy or dictatorship, they are still grow stronger and stronger, nothing can prevent them from that!!!
So my BIG question for you is: Do you really happy when China become democracy and replace western World as a superpower of the World??? Or that time you will look for ways to make China Communist again???
YES!!!!!!
When you are a whore, don't lecture others about virgin value.
@Doraemonchina im not sure exactly what you're trying to ask me, so i'll respond as well as possible ...
what makes you so sure that china will become a democracy? even if they do become a democracy, it will most likely be plagued with corruption( much like western democracy ) caused by corporate influence.
i would NEVER want china to revert back to traditional maoist communism , for the same reason why i dont want it to become a corporate state, because neither one serve the interests of the COMMON PERSON! which is why im an anarcho-syndicalist
@eatenhamhawk: don't telling lie anymore man, just take down your mask, no matter how good reason you can make we Chinese never ever believe in what your Western say, our history has proved that before!!!
The West just love to look for ways to push down China growing, they never ever want us, Chinese to be strong in real mean. So such an kind of people like u, I've 2 definition about yours: 1-is u r so innocent ; 2- is u r so nasty for your evil soul!!!!
@Doraemonchina you obviously didn't understand a single fucking thing i said. if you did you would realize that i DONT CARE if china becomes a world super power. its totally irrelevant to most people. so why would i want to stop they're economic growth? have fun with your nationalistic bullshit and your police state, your single minded retard.
@Doraemonchina Than -W-H-Y- China is giving Trillions n Trillions of Dollars to USA + Jews + EU ? for the last 30 yrs. --- so that these Countries can wage more Wars, Genocide, fake Conflicts in the Whole World ---
@watup2154: they asked for it, if we don;t give them then they will make up things to harm us anyways, that what you are seeing today when China deny to let the West borrow more money and they create stuffs so called"Free Tibet" to pressure China!!!
@Doraemonchina (sorry for the double post , i forgot to reply to you)
i would NEVER want china to revert back to traditional maoist communism , for the same reason why i dont want it to become a corporate state, because neither one serve the interests of the COMMON PERSON! which is why im an anarcho-syndicalist
It was the Cantonese of H.K. that bring wealth to the mainland. They are the middle man between the draconian fist of Beijing and the school of Adam Smith; just as they were the middle man during colonial period.
Too bad, it is gone now. Can China really mimics the West? ahahahaha...
Most Chinese disapprove of the Chinese government, it's corrupted to the core now, even worse than Mao's time in terms of corruption. This show is a western point of view only.
It makes me worry when I see the prsesnt rate of Chinese growth. It would be better for the wast if china remained poor, but the moving collosus can't be stopped anymore.
@deliandiver You do well at stating the obvious. China is less likely to attack the west, especially the US, since they are the biggest lender to the US and the huge economic ties as well. I think China is a stabalizing force in the region and is the only nation that could keep N Korea in check.
You can thank decades of bad economic policies by the US for their current recession. Too many baliouts, growing government, increasing taxes. The US needs economic reforms.
@triniazn China's government can not use force to threaten the United States or other Western countries. He just needs to release the threat of million refugees, the whole world will be the yield.
@deliandiver How would it be good for you? China is a massive untapped market of 1.4 billion people. Imagine if the market is fully opened, every single country would benefit from trade with them.
@lordangelic And China would benefit the most. But I'm not talking about the market. I'm talking about the incerased power of China in consequence of their open market, because they will soon become new superpower.
@minase0906 Capitalism will fall, it used to be an eagle that preys on the both the strong and the weak now it has become a vulture that preys only on the weak. As the nations of the world free themselves, the capitalism has less victims, less to prey on, and it becomes weaker and weaker. It's only a matter of time in my opinion before it will collapse completely
If you want to distinguish who is puppet and who is not, just look at people's traditions, values, and beliefs before and after a president become a president.

XU0038221 4 months ago

READ UP!
Salladsdressing 5 months ago

Do you want me to find some literature for you???

capitalism is an economic system, it can coexist with basically any form of government.

Dimitri0809 7 months ago
China's system is just as much a scam as the West's. Technology brings u wealth not capitalism or maoism.
equal pay 4 equal work motivates people to produce tech. u dont need greed and inequality.
and any govt which does not provide the right for each person to freely do what makes them happy, so long as it doesnt violate that same right in others, by removing economic and political restraint and coercion, is illegitimate.
providing individual freedom is the ONLY legitimate purpose of society
kajmobile 7 months ago
@kajmobile Individual freedom is a collective right, not an individual right. ;)
Tougemaster06 7 months ago
@kajmobile
That is true. I've been telling people all about technology and how it benefits people as a whole but no one listens.
Dimitri0809 7 months ago
@kajmobile
"equal pay 4 equal work motivates people to produce tech"
No, it doesn't. Competition motivates this, it always has, always will. The drive to always do better than your competitor causes more advances to be made in order to advance sales, and monetary gain.
Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28 u dont need inequality 2 compete. and the actual science on incentives says a flat salary works best watch?v=rrkrvAUbU9Y
nasa, nih, nsf along with some of history's greatest inventors like einstein, salk, tesla produce the most advanced tech ever developed without any commission
and the open source movement shows u dont even need compensation: wikipedia, firefox, linux, apache, python
ur claim is flat wrong which costs u a $127k income, the income u would get if pay was equal
kajmobile 6 months ago
@kajmobile
Please use proper grammar.
Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28 "Please use proper grammar."
in a utube comment box that limits u to 500 characters!? lol. no thanx this isnt english class
.
"NASA's development was purely out of the competitive space race"
and nobody at nasa got a profit for beating the soviets which substantiates my point that u can have competition w/o the unequal pay that comes from private profits.
google "gamification" it is a proven way to provide incentives that have nothing to do with income
kajmobile 6 months ago
@kajmobile
Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28 "They did what they loved to do, not for money, for the sake of their personal interests"
which is further proof of my claim that people are motivated by things other than profit. u dont need 2 have billions of dollars in difference in pay in order to motivate people
just like nasa can produce incredible progress and technology by getting flat salaries and no profit, every other organization can do the same
the only thing u get from inequality is widespread poverty and misery
kajmobile 6 months ago
@kajmobile
Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@kajmobile Why settle for a 127K income, when the janitor makes the same? Should I get the same pay as him if I were, oh, a doctor? Why settle for universal 127, when I can earn 240? Taking the smaller award = / = not wanting to do better. Some people recognize what they need, and don't need, which is the key factor in fixing this economy: People need to save their money, and try not to get in debt.
Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28 "Why settle for a 127K income"
it is not settling. it is more than what 97% of current workers make!
.
"Should I get the same pay as him if I were a doctor?"
if u both work hard 40 hours/week, I believe u should. being a dr is harder. but there r benefits that come with being a dr that a janitor doesnt get. there is more prestige in saving lives than cleaning up after them
but equal pay 4 equal work can mean harder work gets paid more. it should be decided democratically
kajmobile 6 months ago

Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28 "Laziness is the #1 problem"
that is just not true
u think people starving thruout the world, billions living in poverty, 40 million in poverty in the US, 22 million making nothing, 40 million without healthcare is because of laziness?
the #1 problem in this world is inequality

@kajmobile People are in poverty and suffering because they cannot get a job, which is not available because the bank has no available jobs, because people are going into debt, because they are not being educated to save their money and be smart with it. Cooperation is good, but what if the entire ship sinks because one component fails due to its own error? As opposed to the right, where the ship does not sink, yet is still hindered by a loss of a component. Why take more risk?
Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28 "People are in poverty and suffering because they cannot get a job"
that is just not true either.
there r 20 million working people in the US that live in poverty, not to mention the fact that 97% of US workers make less than the $127k average income.
kajmobile 6 months ago
@kajmobile
Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28 "people not being smart with money"
the facts dont support ur claim.
people r poor because they dont have enough income, not because they dont know how to manage their money.
capitalism doesnt work, it never will. u will always have poverty, unemployment, booms and busts
capitalism needs to be replaced with democracy where everyone has equal power and equal pay for equal work which amounts to $127k/year enough to make EVERYONE wealthy and fixes most of society's problems
kajmobile 6 months ago
@kajmobile
Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28 "Of course there will be poverty and unemployment, not EVERYONE can be saved"

the US economy is already ruined. 40 million in poverty, 20% of all kids in poverty, 22 million making nothing, 40 million without health insurance, 97% making below average income
u r being conned if u think u have to make less in order 4 the economy to work
kajmobile 6 months ago
@kajmobile
Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28 "That's your opinion"
no, it is a fact that we always had low paying jobs. they dont exist because of the recession. the recession only makes it worse
.
"They need to do several jobs"
so the answer to poverty is not to increase their pay, it is to make them work 80 hours per week?
.
"To think that everyone can instantly get 127 K is to be very naive."
if total income was allocated equally, it would be $127k which is an indisputable, mathematical fact
kajmobile 6 months ago
@kajmobile
Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28

Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28 "Growth is inhibited when there is no incentive"
getting paid $127k per year provides plenty of incentive to work and produce automation that frees our labor to work on new things. people will never run out of new ideas even if they werent paid. 97% of current workers make less than that yet we still manage to grow.
growth depends on the amount you invest. if you dedicate a higher percentage of gdp to investment, you will get higher rates of growth
kajmobile 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28 democracy is based on individual freedom, equality, progress and justice.

Capitalist society is the best way for individuals to rise about the plagues of poverty and unemployment. Having a segment of your population in poverty is better than having your country locked in overcontrolled despair.
Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28 capitalism is the cause of poverty and unemployment. 20k people die every day because of no money not because we dont have enough food. and the recession and rise in unemployment wasnt because we ran out of things to do, it is from our economic system.
poverty and financial struggle comes from inequality which is the goal of capitalism. we produce enough to make everyone wealthy.
our wealth comes from technology, not capitalism
kajmobile 6 months ago
@kajmobile "97% of workers make less than 127K yet we still manage to grow"
All that does is prove my point.
People will have the incentive to invest if it promises more money. Simple science of the human, if he reasonably can, and has the possibility to choose to make more, he will.
"growth depends on the amount you invest. if you dedicate a higher percentage of gdp to investment, you will get higher rates of growth"
Is that not obvious enough?
Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28 investment no longer requires people willing to gamble their life savings. the amount will be democratically determined as a % of gdp. that amount will be allocated to banks who will use their technical expertise to fund promising proposals
if we want more cars, we simply build more factories. we dont force people to take a 75% pay cut and hope they invest to increase their income in order to get our economy to grow. that is idiotic
kajmobile 6 months ago
@kajmobile

Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28 people r forced to live with this economic system where the average worker makes $33k which is 75% less than the $127k they would make in a democratic system.
and the rich people who take all this extra income so they can live incredibly extravagant and powerful lives have convinced gullible people such as yourself that it is for ur own good.
kajmobile 6 months ago
@kajmobile
It's not JUST for the good of the rich. I am arguing for the good of the middle class + rich.
Can't even properly quote here, I hate this comment system.
Continuing from investment:
Please, give me a detailed account of all the expenses of this government, the GDP of the nation, and the percent taxed.
Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28 yes, the middle class, who hasnt seen a pay increase in real terms in 30 years really benefits from this system. all our increase in gdp since late 80s has gone to the wealthiest 10%
the $127k is pretax income. if the govt stayed at the level it is now, federal and state would consume 20% of that income thru income taxes, sales taxes, property taxes, tariffs and fees
kajmobile 6 months ago
@kajmobile
Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28 y wont we invest in technology!?! r u really that deluded by those crackpot austrians with their pseudoscience that u think only private investors can figure out breaking windows so we can fix them is a bad investment?
allocation of investment funds will be done by skilled investment bankers not by democratic vote
and there will in fact be entrepreneurs who will submit their proposals to them because that is what they enjoy doing: launching new ideas, not sweeping floors
kajmobile 6 months ago
@kajmobile What incentive is there for someone to become a skilled investor in your society? What incentive is there for them to make good investments? Entrepreneurs come up with new ideas because they enjoy making money, not because they enjoy coming up with them.
IrishLibertyLover 6 months ago
@IrishLibertyLover investors will make good investments so they can keep their job as investors.
entrepreneurs will continue to develop new ideas because they want to earn $127k and they would rather earn that money developing their own idea than doing some other job.

Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28
Even if you are only talking the work force, that is 90 per person, with a cost of 1.78 trillion, which, again, the US cannot afford without going even further into debt.
Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28 ur math is wrong.
gdp is $14.9 trillion minus $1.8 trillion in investment leaves $13.1 trillion in total consumption income.
divide that by the 100 million full time workers plus the 35 million part time workers and you get $127k per full time worker
kajmobile 6 months ago
@kajmobile
Touche.
Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@kajmobile
Lonedracowolf28 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28 the govt wouldnt run anything. it would continue to create rules and regulate business like they do now. and businesses would continue to operate as they do now making sure they meet customer demand and expenses dont exceed revenue
the difference is capital is democratically controlled and pay would be democratically determined.
ur pay wouldnt be based on how much more revenue ur company can get beyond expenses, it is based on how we democratically decide to allocate total gdp

@kajmobile What cooperative incentive is there to make someone go to school for ten years, be on call 24/7, and live with the stress of having lives rest in your hands when someone could easily become a night time janitor and sweep floors for the same pay? @Lonedracowolf28 drs along with everyone else would be paid to go to school since it's an economic investment, not a consumption item

kajmobile 6 months ago
@Lonedracowolf28 however democracy means equal pay for equal work. u can make a valid case that harder jobs like drs and construction workers should be paid more than easier jobs like cashiers or artists
the allocation of income would be decided democratically. and some jobs may be paid higher. also some jobs benefit from getting paid based on production so a portion of total income will be used for bonuses
what u wont have in a democracy is 1 making $1 billion and 75 million making <$33k

watup2154 8 months ago
@watup2154 Funny. The hundreds of millions of Chinese people being able to lift themselves out of poverty and starvation says otherwise.

i dont understand whats so attractive about china becoming more wealthy. no matter how rich most country becomes their working class are still going to be treated like shit. china is still in an authoritarian dictatorship,so until there is a true workers movement in china , economic growth in china just means more wealthy business men and poorer peasants.
fuck authoritarianism communism , fuck corporate feudalism , and fuck capitalism
anarcho-syndicalism FTW

So my BIG question for you is: Do you really happy when China become democracy and replace western World as a superpower of the World??? Or that time you will look for ways to make China Communist again???
YES!!!!!!
When you are a whore, don't lecture others about virgin value.
Doraemonchina 8 months ago
@Doraemonchina im not sure exactly what you're trying to ask me, so i'll respond as well as possible ...
what makes you so sure that china will become a democracy? even if they do become a democracy, it will most likely be plagued with corruption( much like western democracy ) caused by corporate influence.

i would NEVER want china to revert back to traditional maoist communism , for the same reason why i dont want it to become a corporate state, because neither one serve the interests of the COMMON PERSON! which is why im an anarcho-syndicalist
eatenhamhawk 8 months ago

It was the Cantonese of H.K. that bring wealth to the mainland. They are the middle man between the draconian fist of Beijing and the school of Adam Smith; just as they were the middle man during colonial period.
Too bad, it is gone now. Can China really mimics the West? ahahahaha...

Most Chinese disapprove of the Chinese government, it's corrupted to the core now, even worse than Mao's time in terms of corruption. This show is a western point of view only.

Mao was the worst man to ever lead a country, causing the deaths of 70million Chinese, something not even Stalin or Hitler together had accomplished.
Deng Xiaoping was one of the best men to ever lead a country, lifting 150million Chinese out of poverty.
And to this day Mao is the one who get the credit.

It makes me worry when I see the prsesnt rate of Chinese growth. It would be better for the wast if china remained poor, but the moving collosus can't be stopped anymore.
deliandiver 11 months ago
@deliandiver You do well at stating the obvious. China is less likely to attack the west, especially the US, since they are the biggest lender to the US and the huge economic ties as well. I think China is a stabalizing force in the region and is the only nation that could keep N Korea in check.
You can thank decades of bad economic policies by the US for their current recession. Too many baliouts, growing government, increasing taxes. The US needs economic reforms.
triniazn 10 months ago
@triniazn China's government can not use force to threaten the United States or other Western countries. He just needs to release the threat of million refugees, the whole world will be the yield.

@deliandiver How would it be good for you? China is a massive untapped market of 1.4 billion people. Imagine if the market is fully opened, every single country would benefit from trade with them.
lordangelic 9 months ago
@lordangelic And China would benefit the most. But I'm not talking about the market. I'm talking about the incerased power of China in consequence of their open market, because they will soon become new superpower.

@minase0906 Capitalism will fall, it used to be an eagle that preys on the both the strong and the weak now it has become a vulture that preys only on the weak. As the nations of the world free themselves, the capitalism has less victims, less to prey on, and it becomes weaker and weaker. It's only a matter of time in my opinion before it will collapse completely

sisizhe 1 year ago
