no it isn't i have both and ps3 is better on a hd plasma. 360 graphics are good but not as good. all so the ps3 online is free were you have to pay on xbox. and gh world tour is rubbish. rock band is way better.

Games are NOT all about graphics. Only an idiot would think that way. The Xbox 360 renders absolutely BEAUTIFUL graphics, has superior online features, overall has more games that are high-quality than not, and is a more efficient machine to program for. They're both excellent consoles, but I personally like the Xbox 360 better, and as of now, do believe it is a superior console.

Sorry; I didn't mean to necessarily call you an idiot, only stating that an idiot would only care about graphics and not gameplay - THEE most important factor of a game. ALWAYS. Sometimes both go hand-in-hand, which is slightly different, but it the gameplay still comes first.

It seems as though you were saying that because the PS3 can render, or produce, slightly better graphics (only on a few titles), that it's a better system. WRONG! The GAMEPLAY and FEATURES are what matter.

Time to call you ignorant; because that's what you are! The Xbox 360 has, generally, richer colors, the online is arguably SUPERIOR, it DOES have more games, and the Xbox 360 is FAR more efficient to program for.

The Xbox 360 is arguably superior in STRONG, CORE aspects. Online service, efficiency to program for, library of games (but that's evening out), quality of OS features (but there's plus an minuses for both, however the Xbox's is better programmed and fit 'n finished overall; less lockups, more reliable, more complete).

In 2008 Xbox360 sold 400,000 more units than PS3 . . . thats 1/4 of all 360s sold MORE than PS3 in ONE year . . . not even the initial release rush.

I have a PS3 and Xbox 360 and both are exactly the same graphics wise. Sony seem to have brainwashed people well with the whole "we have the most powerful processor" thing. People dont seem to realise that its easier to programme for the 360 and also the 360's processor is more suited to games than the PS3's. Also people seem to ignore the fact that both consoles have pretty much identical GPUs in terms of power. Personally I prefer my 360. Controllers are better and PS3 Home was a big let down.
