and your purpose-built gaming system is good for some games (fighting games in particular and single player adventure games maybe) But I think the mouse+keyboard is the way fps should be played. You have more efficient aim / reaction time. If you disagree that's great but, the fact sticky aim exists for consoles is all the evidence I really need to support my argument.

@Beecels My reaction is fine because I set my sensitivity high enough to aim properly. And who the fuck uses sticky aim? Casuals. You probably use sticky aim when you play consoles so so you think that's the norm. I'd rather use ONE ergonomic device than two unwieldy things.

@h2oloobmx driving, sports and 3D platform games, your basically playing with a controller that was made for the playstation 1, how many FPS games were on PS1, hardly any. you have to release your thumb controlling where you look to press four buttons, we dont have to release any fingers, you have to release either aim or trigger to push a top button, same goes with the D-pad, you have to release the left analogue thumb so you stop moving, we dont have to, every finger has a button on it

@h2oloobmx what? a PS1 controller wasnt made for the PS1?strange that, kid (i assume you are because of your knowledge of video games)PS3/PS2 controler is a different collored PS1 controller, PS1 controller is just SONYs version of a SNES controller with dual-sticks thrown on when they startd making more 3D games, like Tomb Raider, Crash Bandicoot, DukeNukem, Tekken, FIFA, G-Tourismo, not many FPS games at the time were they.XBOX controller is just Microsofts version of the PS1(PS3) controller.

@h2oloobmx now, a PS1 controller wasnt made solely for FPS games as that wasnt the trend at the time, it was mainly designed for the games i stated in last reply, only FPS games of note at time was medal of honor, doom & quake. FPS games were mostly on PCs, and playing them online, YEARS before the PS3 was even thought of, so the games were designed to be used with a mouse and keyboard, and over the years its been perfected. that means mouse & keyb are the native controller for FPS games.

@h2oloobmx again you dont answer, why do consoles have aim assist? its either there are alot of noobs or controllers are inadequate for the speed and precision of FPS games. and dont say movement is better because looking at PC videos movement seems better and faster. jumping, proning in mid air at the same time as aiming & shoot
