with the hd-dvd drive i can have my dvd or hddvd in that, and my cod4/halo3 disc in the game drive. So when i had an invite id just press the live button and click join, and id be there in a few seconds. Then just skip back to my movie when its done.

I'm hoping the NXE will still allow me to navigate that quickly.

No, but it allows your game to load about 200% faster so if the game takes 30 seconds to load itll only take 15 seconds, which makes a big diff in games like oblivion because when you go in and outside it has to load.

Xbox 360 games are 6.5 to 7.5 GB. They are on Dual Layer 8.5GB discs. They won't let you copy an entire game to the HDD. That would be dumb on their part.

games are more than likely to be between 1 and 3 gig, because it will not store the hole game, only proccesing files so the 360 dosnt have to tranfere data from the disk, in effect the disk is only telling the files were they need to be and what they need to be doing.

or they could simply have the 360 make an iso and read that, and in that case they could be as low as 100mb... but no way are they gonna do that lol its microsoft

Firstly it depends on how big the game is and secondly yes you do need the disc in the tray to play it. However you don't have to listen to that loud disc tray spinning any more and increases load speed.
