watch out pearl is very slippery unlike the curve. The curve has rubberized. and yes the speakers on both suck

I had a curve before it got flushed .. then I got that model you have and i wish I flushed the pearl. I hate that phone to annoying with shared keys. The camera on this one acts stupid. I can have 5 bar strength and well not good enough to go on sites that curve can go on. Like youtube. I can usually watch videos from that site with the curve this one wont give me that option. the net wont let me go to crackberry on this phone. All i can do is f.book, email and messenger. all else is impossible

this phone is a pile of mess!! I had it and i would have to go outside just to get service its VERY slow and anoying!! I liked it.. it was just ugh anoying!! I dropped this phone 1 time on CARPET and the back broke in half! I was also putting my sim card in one day and the piece that holds it in broke off so yeah I couldnt stand it. I upgraded to a iphone and one day the screen got cracked so we sent it in and i went back to the blackberry and i couldnt stand it! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PHONE!!

-got this bb pearl off of Ebay

-Used my same SIM card from the Sony erricson, and put it in the bb pearl

-Now since BB uses internet and updates itself, will I get charged for anything extra?

-plan usage: limited calls, unlimited texting, limited internet usage

Pearl or shine... Probably whichevers cheaper. Unless you're rough on them, then get the BB. My shine broke in about four months, other than it's lack of durability tho, it's the best phone I've owned, with the pearl at a very very close second

i didnt like for the fact that the back cover COVERS the speaker,sounds horribly,but when you remove it it sounds nice,blackberry should make another back cover EXposing the speaker for better sound quality :D

rumor, not only do u not have to pay the outrageous 20 buck data plan, but the 8100 has major load times for simple things like just looking at your picture library, its just seems very glitchy... oh and i recommend the samsung rant or the rumor 2 instead, rant is free, but the rumor 2 would take you out 29 bucks, thanks for the sub!

the blackberry pearl becomes glitchy after being reset with Battery being taken out. after a little bit it returns to normal speed. I loved my blackberry pearl 8100 and then i made the dreadful decision to wash and dry it. luckily my sim card and media card were fine but i lost all my numbers. only took a week or so to get them back :D

you are a fucking retard! you obviously have no clue whatso ever as to how a touch screen works. wheather its thermal sensitive or pressure sensitive neather will work because the screen is set inside the shell. now it could be possible if your phone is completly naked wth no shell but your full of shit because the battery mounts to the shell not to the actual hardware of the phone. you cant just make up software and exspect hardware to appear in your phone.

now it is possible to make the camera recognize pressure. if you put a piece of paper on a glass table and put the cam under the table looking up you can program the camera to recognize pressure on certain parts of the paper. but seriously, your gonna carry around a peice of paper and glass just to have a touch screen? so no sir, your an idiot
