  • great video !! :)

  • I really love this stuff. In my opinion - the playing is what comes first and foremost. stick tricks should NEVER get in the way of your playing. but i feel that stick tricks is ALL about the relationship between your hands and the drumstick. the more control you have over it, the better drummer you are going to be.

  • So right Chris. The spaces are important, but many musicians fail to understand the concept. Novices often feel a need or compulsion to fill the space with....what else...notes. But space is your friend, and should be treated with the same gravity you apply to each note. Just as each note you play should have meaning, so should the space...the one that's unnecessary to fill.

Like your videos. Acoustic bass player here.

  • Talent Yes theise guys are very smart!!! Doing the tricks does make you use your brain more Smart men on this video they know what they are talking about .If you just drum and don't do the tricks your just playing when you doing the tricks your performing and useing your brain a lot more thinking of the movements the song and all that takes more talent.

  • @warboop

If you believe that then i think its all good. My opinion is the human body can get USED to all kinds of things that does not require or give you a higher IQ.
