Firstly theres another bucket in the connected bucket, schhool boy error. and secondly it stops and starts and stops and starts, then the tracks rise in the air and to add injury to insult the buckets being dragged along the floor ripping it to pieces. one steady movment is what your aiming for pal. how to offload a digger LMFAO!
thats the way to do it except i keep the bucket on the same spot on the ground and dont scrape it along the ground by moving the boom.but thats definatly the way to do it instead of those folk who just reverse off and will cause someone to get hurt well done
Swing the cab around to face the front of the trailer, boom out the mast, and roll down the ramp. You don't tear up the asphalt that way, the machine stays balanced and in control because the weight is on the high side as you drive down the ramp, and it only takes a few seconds. I'd yell at any of my guys for dragging a bucket like that. Try the other way, it's pretty much industry standard.
Having the blade towards the front of the trailer makes them load easier with out so much teter tater effect . blade and boom at the rear and she goes quit a ways before levling out
Also if I have the blade at the rear I would not be able to sit the machine over the axles,the blade would be against my ramps wich are the upright type not stow aways.
I'm still curious why you think you did a great job.. unloading a piece of equipment.. if anything look up where they unloaded a large excavator off of a flat bed truck with the front tires off the ground. Its all stupid and unsafe but hes a hell of an operator.
I didnt say I did a great great job of it, just this is the way to do it, buy the way I have loaded and off loaded a LOT of large machines up to 55 tonnes actually so there na na na na na.

@HeadshotHarry Agreed. A few inches off the ground is the CORRECT and SAFE way to avoid a roll-over. Hoewever, I have been known to use the Boom to save time and effort by NOT using ramps. A good operator can do this without ever damaging ground, trailer, or equipment.

thats a piss poor atempt at offloading. Firstly theres another bucket in the connected bucket, schhool boy error. and secondly it stops and starts and stops and starts, then the tracks rise in the air and to add injury to insult the buckets being dragged along the floor ripping it to pieces. one steady movment is what your aiming for pal. how to offload a digger LMFAO!

thats the way to do it except i keep the bucket on the same spot on the ground and dont scrape it along the ground by moving the boom.but thats definatly the way to do it instead of those folk who just reverse off and will cause someone to get hurt well done

Swing the cab around to face the front of the trailer, boom out the mast, and roll down the ramp. You don't tear up the asphalt that way, the machine stays balanced and in control because the weight is on the high side as you drive down the ramp, and it only takes a few seconds. I'd yell at any of my guys for dragging a bucket like that. Try the other way, it's pretty much industry standard.

Having the blade towards the front of the trailer makes them load easier with out so much teter tater effect . blade and boom at the rear and she goes quit a ways before levling out

Also if I have the blade at the rear I would not be able to sit the machine over the axles,the blade would be against my ramps wich are the upright type not stow aways.

I'm still curious why you think you did a great job.. unloading a piece of equipment.. if anything look up where they unloaded a large excavator off of a flat bed truck with the front tires off the ground. Its all stupid and unsafe but hes a hell of an operator.

I didnt say I did a great great job of it, just this is the way to do it, buy the way I have loaded and off loaded a LOT of large machines up to 55 tonnes actually so there na na na na na.

You cant load with your blade to the rear anyway, the balance of the trailer would be all to pot, snaking around.
I hope your towing with a landy though, id say your on the limit for the digger buckets and trailer 3.5t, lol it is skye though, commisioners are only there evry blue moon.
I cant believe that your getting this much abuse tom. Its not the way i do it but who am i to tell you, its your kit your land knock yersell out.
