  • im feelin this guy isnt making enough money from the museum thats why he gets so up set when he talks about his wife calling it junk, thats my interpretation any way, but i think it would be really cool to see the complete periodic table, physicaly, this guy is awesome no doubt, but something about the southern accent makes me immediately think hes stupid, sorry, this guy is a legend tho, keep teaching those kid...., cus there dumb as fuck these days

  • hiii iam suraj

  • lol

  • its great to see someone liking science so much that he is passing it on to the kids and making them smile. I hope his town realizes that they got a great thinker there. He seems to be a crafty old man and its great to see.

  • wtf he has uranuium in there wheres the fbi

  • love how these guys talk

  • fantastic =)

  • very kick ass video. i would spend EVERY moment in that place, just looking at stuff ^^.

  • Those are some pretty kickass posters, rocks, and lightbulbs.

  • He sounds like a good ole country boy to me. I didn't have any trouble understanding him and I grew up in NC! :o)

  • shut up

  • lol

  • No you probably don't understand... I find it really difficult to understand his accent :S well weird.

  • This was very good.

  • wow! that's a really cool! he has his own museum! i like the black light thing :]

  • science in texas? i thought they claim god created everything over there :p

    funny accent ^^

  • Ever heard of NASA?

  • the founder guy has a very prevolent accent

  • cool....keep it going!

  • I think YOU are GREAT! I man's junk is another man's treasure!

  • It WOULD NEVER! BE JUNK!!!!!

  • amen to that.

  • Hear, hear. I wanna go there!

  • Awesome!

all the elements of the periodic table!

I would pay to see such a wondrous show!

If i didn't live in the other side of the world... xD

  • if he has francium, i would be most impressed considering it's not stable.

  • people would have it. not truly but something that looks like expectedly. So what it would look like if it was stable

  • i also bet that he doesn't have uranium...

  • if he has francium, i would be most impressed considering it's not stable.

  • another fact about francium is that only a few atoms exist on the entire earth at one

  • He did not claim to have all of the elements, he said he had 92 elements, he has uranium, it was pictured, clearly he cannot have a collection of unstable elements that have half-lives measured in seconds or less...

  • bob phillips is always good.

  • I love this video. Has PBS been out to interview him? It's not junk at all. It's wonderful.

  • looks like junk ?¿?

    well, maybe a little messy.

but what great junk to have !

    i guess it's not spent on non-technical

    thinkers though.

maybe mr. little should put his teachings on the tube as well ?

i'll bet i would be lot's of fun and really educational.

  • i wish my Science teacher was like him my science teacher hates me =(

  • kill your teacher, problem solved

  • people r dum for dums douning me y would they do i bet it was mr.bearfeild he has a youtube o well people can hate but it dosent matter any more

  • Your a cunt

  • Your an ass

  • Your an ass

  • You're a bosom.

  • anetta, stumble, mehuser - clearly you could not generate a half a brain among you, hopefully, your contributions to the gene pool will be limited, we already have enough imbeciles...

  • Where is this place?

  • Why do you hate? I think the Texas/Southern accent is charming.

  • sexxylevi11 - you are clearly a complete and utter moron

  • You know what was spectacular about that place? Those kids reacting the way they did to the exhibits, and the dedication of one man to keeping the place going all these years. I hope there's someone who will pick it up for him when it's his time to go. God bless, from Iowa.

  • haha his wife thinks its junk.... classic :D

  • /watch?v=0rQ43P-mhQY

  • Yeah, this is the sort of America I'd like to se more of :) Texas hospitality and gadgets and T-bone steaks and beautifull landskapes. Not war and capitalism.

    Cheers! From Sweden.

  • damn i wish i could move outta america and live in sweden -_- but being 16 im really limited on my choices

  • you know its people like you, who have absolutely no faith in this country, that make me sick. why do you hate America, is it because of bush and the war, you can disapprove of those things without hating America.

  • I blame the hippies. They're the ones who started to combine hating the country and hating how it's run, which are two entirely different things.

    I like pie! Meeps!

P.S. That museum was pretty awesome for someguy's backyard.

  • sweden ? are you nut's ?

but you could try political assylum if you want when you are 18.

  • this is the america ive grown up to love, not the stuff you see on TV .

  • This is great! :)

  • wow, a voice deep enough for "60 Minutes"

  • This was one of my favorite shows to watch when I lived in Texas. Been watching if for years. I miss the state, and the show. Its nice to see on youtube...just wish there were a few more episodes.

Thanks for showcasing the greatest state in the country. There truely isn't any place like it..anywhere..and the people are one of a kind.

  • Don't worry, Blue - we're adding a new story every week for all of our displaced fellow Texans to enjoy. Hang in there. Here's hoping you find your way back to the Lone Star State sometime soon.

  • your videos always put a smile on my face, thank you yet again

  • Excellent video again :)

  • great vid!

  • Sir, that was fantastic. I love your programs and I really enjoy meeting the people you introduce us to. One day I'd like to see them in person.

  • Thanks for the kind words. Do you know we host an annual festival in Waxahachie, TX for exactly that reason? We fill the courthouse square with artists, chefs, musicians and other characters you've seen on TCR. This year it's on Oct. 25. Can you make it?

  • We are planning a road trip to the state in the Fall, and if our schedules don't have any conflicts I think we will certainly try. We are coming from Washington State, so its a once a year kind of trip because of the time and expense. Thanks for letting us know. I was kind of hoping to catch the whooping cranes at Aransas Wildlife Refuge in October so its a good chance. I think my girl would love to see some of the things I've been talking about since I moved here. :)

  • I wish I could visit this place :)

    5 stars for this video * * * * *

  • I so enjoy your videos. I love hearing the life stories of the people you meet.

  • As a retired teacher, I don't know why, but the specimens excited me more than the experiments. I had minerals, gems, ores and natural magnets on display. Gnawed beaver stumps; tree slices, giant bamboo, coconuts, dried cotton plants, mounted insects and more. I should have gotten a blacklight.

  • enjoyed this....

  • Wow, very inspiring. Great to see a man who spends his free time teaching other people science, also, I don't think any of it is "junk"

  • very interesting

  • as usual great video

  • awsome..thx again TCR.
