Well Ken is partially japanese. His parents sent him to japan so that he could learn some discipline (sp?). When ken hit it big in the U.S. he died his hair Blonde so that he would seem more "american" You can simply look at his eyebrows sense...they dont match

Yep, I guess you guys who saw this before I did beat me to it. This is a Japanese History Educational Video. It reminds me of the Rockman (Megaman): Wish Upon A Star 3-part episode that provided cultural insight into Modern Day Japan. I figure Capcom likes to use its characters for educational purposes since modern youth like playing as them or watching them.

BTW: Chun-Li is cute in that parade. She also has those nice sexy hips and sweet booty! Mmmm.... Booty.... I would grab it. ;-)

It's true that Ken's mother is full Japanese, and his father is half Japanese. Ken was originally a Japanese character in SF 1. And Ryu is so totally committed to his karate training, I don't think he knows much about anything else, including history. He has absolutely no life beyond martial arts. He was probably not even paying attention to Ken during the lesson really, just thinking "When will you shut up so I get back to my training?" Even though there's nobody to fight in the past. :)

Hehhh...? How did Ken and Ryu reconize Chun-Li? 0_0 and how did she knew them? In the animated movie,she met Guile and became a partner with Guile,Ryu and Ken were at their parted ways and still friends but Chun-Li didn't met them in the movie. I'm glad that Ryu has a new friend along Ken and E.Honda. I hope to see Ryu and Chun-Li together in the new Street Fighter movie. ._.
