have you ever tried putting a input effect (OD-AmpSim) on the "Express Lead"? put it on HI-Gain putting the drive too 100, -18 on the highs and +5 for the lo and put on EL84 for the amp type and route OD -> AMP instead of AMP -> OD, add +10 low and -10 high on the master effects page and put some slight delay on and see what happens :p
