I've made one. The wire at the top puts either a positive or negative charge on the surrounding air. Then the foil plates below are charged with the opposite charge, attracting the air molecules. The force of attraction between the air molecules and the foil plates is sufficient to lift the device. One can, on some of the larger ones, feel the air flow from a considerable distance. Don't get me wrong, it was cool as fuck and has no moving parts, but it ain't no anti-gravity.

If you still question weather it is antigravity or ion wind... read some of NASA's published work on them. They did extensicve testing on them and determined that ion wind is the only effect present. Thier tests where laid out quite simple enough for ANYONE to duplicate. I honsetly don't think any of you will question weather it is ion wind or not after reading some of what they have done... It is far less dense than "normal" air, and as such still has the same ratio of oxygen and other gasses except this one little thing... Oxygen is a negatively charged molecule... when the candle flame and the oxygen molecules are within range of the effect (ie. the foil) - the oxygen molecules are drawn to the foil and the little flame goes poof for lack of oxygen. On JLNlabs website, there is an experiment with an digital anemometer, and the calculations and measuremtns including wight of the device show quite conclusively that 3-mph is needed to levitate a 5 gram lifter, yet windspeed only 1.5 mph. While it may not be airflow alone, it requires a gas between the wire and the foil along with the voltages in order to work. The B2 STEALTH (Spirit) bomber uses this as axiliary propulsion to stay aloft indefinately, and reduces skin-heating to zero.

Already done in 2002 by JLN labs,and in 2000,by me, at the 2nd antigravity conference in Reno, Nevada.We wrapped our heavy sheet aluminium and copper saucers in plastic;they flew BACKWARDS,but they still flew,heavy as they were.Nothing producing thrust as we know it made them move.That's why NO inertia.

inventor my ass. look in the classified ads of any early 80's POPULAR SCIENCE magazine and you'll see ad for electronic levitation. they sold several plans including ones for this device.
